‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Knows Adam Is Alive, Helps Chloe And Bribes Scott

These spoilers confirm what Young and the Restless fans have long been suspecting: Adam Newman is not dead! If we take this thought just a little further, it also means that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is not a murderer. It should come as no surprise to devoted Young and the Restless fans that the Mustache, Mr. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) himself, is behind this. It isn’t a wonder that he has remained so composed about the supposed death of his son.

Not too long ago, social media was aflutter at the news that Daytime Confidential co-owner Jamey Giddens reported that the role of Adam Newman was being recast. Giddens was partial to Michael Muhney being recast in the role of Adam, and it seems as if Giddens may have had his prayers heard. At least, that seems to be the gist of the recent interaction on Eric Braeden’s Twitter feed.

Soap Opera Spy also offered this explanation for the resurrection of the Adam Newman character.

“The soap world allows for improbable, or impossible events to take place and then to be corrected based upon varying factors. That’s why the rumored Adam recast makes sense, as writing that critical character back into the frame would allow this open-ended story line to be resolved.

“Adam’s resurrection would also allow Chloe to remain viable, rather than imprisoned. As for Victor, he’ll surely remain an object of ongoing suspicion in the minds of many Genoa City residents regardless of what happens. But, he wouldn’t be seen as the person whose actions enabled his own son’s murder.”

Heck, if Chloe can rise from her casket, what is preventing Adam from rising to the occasion as well? According to Young and the Restless spoilers, Victor knows that Adam is alive, and that is why he is helping Chloe.

Young and the Restless spoilers also clarify that it makes sense that Chloe never died as there was no retrospective shown to viewers before she escaped from Genoa City. After talking to Chloe, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) was shown on his way to Louisiana carrying a gun.

Young and the Restless fans will remember that Victor gave Chloe an envelope filled with money and told her to never return to Genoa City again. Chloe went to live with Dr. Harris (Ron Melendez), and when Victor told Dr. Harris to utilize the “nuclear option,” he was actually referring to Dr. Harris helping Chloe fake her death.
