‘Teen Mom 2’ Jenelle Evans Spends Time With Son Jace, Announces Exciting News On Instagram
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is focused on her family and her career, as she and her fiancé, David Eason, get closer and closer to their fall wedding date.
Following a custody battle loss against her mother, Barbara Evans, Jenelle Evans is enjoying her court-ordered visitation with her 7-year-old son, Jace, and recently announced a fun new business venture on her Twitter and Instagram pages.
“C O M I N G * S O O N… VERY SOON!” Jenelle Evans wrote in the caption of an Instagram post, along with the hash tag, “JEmoji App.”
In the photo that Jenelle Evans shared on her Twitter and Instagram pages, an image of the reality star is seen, and in the picture, the mother of three is wearing a feather in her hair. As fans of Teen Mom 2 may recall, Jenelle Evans revealed that she was a big fan of Kesha and even when going to jail was on the line, Evans told her lawyer that she would not be missing her concert. She also revealed that she had gotten feathers put into her hair for the show.
The moment was one of the most shocking of Teen Mom 2 and even garnered the attention of Kesha, who told the Huffington Post, via Hollywood Life, “She is the reason I do what I do. Go grrrl don’t let the man hold you down! We R Who We R!!!!”
After announcing her upcoming JEmoji App, Jenelle Evans returned to Instagram, where she shared a photo of herself and her son, along with the caption, “Enjoying waterfalls and things with my boy.”
Jenelle Evans welcomed son Jace in 2009 and a short time later, she signed over her custody rights to her mother, who has remained as Jace’s legal guardian in the years since. Although Evans attempted to regain custody of Jace during a custody hearing last month, a judge ultimately decided that her son should remain with his grandmother, who was granted primary custody, while the longtime reality star was awarded with court-ordered visitation, which she didn’t have before.
While Jenelle Evans loss her bid for custody, she is now seeing Jace on the weekend and is expected to have him for a portion of the summer.
After the hearing took place, Jenelle Evans offered a statement to E! News about the outcome of her years-long battle for custody of Jace.
“I’m not restricted to when my mom says I can have my son anymore,” Evans told the outlet, “and at the moment that’s all I care about. [I] just want to spend time with my son. He will be home one day but today wasn’t the day, sadly.”
Weeks ago, Jenelle Evans reflected on how her life has changed in recent years, with the addition of her fiancé, David Eason, and her two youngest children, 2-year-old Kaiser and 4-month-old Ensley.
“My mornings now compared to 5 years ago is really eye opening,” she wrote, along with a photo of Eason and her two youngest kids. “Family is everything to me and always will be. Where I was years ago compared to now, I look back on everything and think ‘holy s**t, I made it.’ I hope everyone can watch the series and see my journey and learn from it. Thanks for continuing to watch my life, hope I entertained you the past 7/8 years.”
Jenelle Evans and her family, including fiancé David Eason and their kids, are currently filming the eighth season of Teen Mom 2. No word yet on a premiere date for the series’ upcoming installment.
