Chloe Grace Moretz Reacts To Fat-Shaming Controversy Over ‘Red Shoes & The 7 Dwarfs’ Ad

The ancient classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has been doing the rounds of the news world because of its two modern adaptations. One of which is a recently advertised movie that aims to give people another perspective about the princess but fails to do so because of a major marketing fail.

The American actress and model Chloe Grace Moretz has been wowing hearts with her acting since 2004. Recently, her promo poster for the movie Red Shoes & the 7 Dwarfs has been receiving some major internet hatred because of body-shaming promoting posters. Chloe Grace Moretz has lent her voice to the movie, and the poster was seen last week at the Cannes Film Festival. She stood by the film and urged people to look at the beautiful story in its entirety. The film is an animated parody of the age-old Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs tale with a twist, introducing two new members – one tall and thin, the other wider and shorter.

Chloe Grace Moretz has been receiving social media backlash owing to the poster that was released with the following quote.

“What if Snow White was no longer beautiful and the Seven Dwarfs not so short?”

She responded to the message by tweeting that she hadn’t approved such marketing tactics and is still as angry and appalled as everyone else is.

After this buzz on social media, the film’s producers finally gave in to the voice of the public and terminated the campaign altogether. After all the fiasco subsided, Chloe Grace Moretz was seen strolling in New York City with two of her brothers on Thursday. The blonde actress sported a casual Rolling Stones T-shirt with a pair of denims. She looked at ease with a classic pair of Slip On Vans to complete her look. Accompanying her were brothers Colin and Trevor, who rocked a sporty rock style for themselves as well. Chloe is the youngest of five siblings and the only sister in the bunch.

While Chloe Grace Moretz has been dreading not looking carefully at her version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the fictional character of Mary Margaret Blanchard is all set to embark on the journey to Season 7 with the popular fairy tale drama Once Upon a Time. The resurgence of the show was doubted after the ratings started to drop dramatically last season for this Disney-owned ABC show.

The show has brought fairy tale characters back to the modern world perfectly reimagining how they would fit into the life of this century. The character Mary Margaret Blanchard has been played by Ginnifer Goodwin, which is an alter ego for Snow White. Mary Margaret Blanchard has been seen as the protagonist in this series fighting off evil and protecting her daughter Emma Swan. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has always been an awe-inspiring story of the lovely couple Snow White and Prince Charming and the love that they share. Mary Margaret Blanchard can be seen romancing David Nolan in the series, while the actors Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas are married in real life as well.

Fans are definitely glad that Once Upon a Time is coming back on ABC and is still keeping the old characters alive to keep the fun and excitement going. It will be interesting to see how these two tales of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs succeed in impressing fans who have grown up watching this Disney princess. These reincarnations will definitely be worth watching.
