Mackenzie Standifer Suffers Custody Issues In Wake Of Fiancé Ryan Edwards Drug Problems

A new report has just surfaced that Mackenzie Standifer has suffered from a custody issue with her ex in the wake of the allegations that her fiancé, Ryan Edwards, is on drugs. The mother of one was a teen mother, just like Maci Bookout, which is why Maci feels the pair connect so well.

While the two likely do not have anything to do with each other, it is likely upsetting for Mackenzie Standifer to have to deal with all of this at once. According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, child support payments for her son, Hudson, have been cut almost in half. Her ex used to pay her $503 per month, and now the court has ruled in his favor, stating he only needs to pay his former spouse $245 per month.

Maci Bookout confessed to her husband on the last episode of Teen Mom OG that sometimes she was so worried about Ryan Edwards that she was convinced he would die. She is now trying to protect Bentley, the son they share together, and also worries for Ryan’s safety.

“I’m going to be like, you have to go to rehab,” she told Taylor on Teen Mom OG. “Right now it’s about saving his life. Most nights I’m crying in our bed talking to you about whether or not today is the day he’s going to die.”

Mackenzie Standifer responded to the allegations of Ryan Edwards being on drugs via the Ashley, saying that people could think what they want.

She also slid in a Marie Antoinette quote, saying, “Let them eat cake.”

Although it’s unclear what exactly she was trying to say, it seems she meant to say what will be will be, and people will believe what they want at the end of the day.

She also told fans on Twitter that instead of talking about the pair, they should probably spend time praying for them. For some, this seemingly confirmed the rumors that Ryan was suffering from an issue having to do with drugs.

In a recent episode of Teen Mom OG, Maci Bookout told her husband, Taylor, that she had heard some “really scary stuff” about Ryan. She said she didn’t want to go into specifics with the cameras there, but she was really worried about what was going on.

Before Ryan met Mackenzie Standifer, Maci confessed that she worried about Ryan and the fact that he had such low self-esteem.

“Sometimes I do worry about Ryan and if he’ll find happiness or he’ll find someone that completes him. But I think Ryan has to learn to love himself first,” she said at the time.

It seems, however, he’s found a very special woman in Mackenzie Standifer, who is definitely sticking with him. The pair are set to walk down the aisle in November of this year, and plans have not changed in any way due to the fact that Ryan may be suffering from a drug abuse issue.

Radar Online also reported that Mackenzie Standifer and Ryan’s family would be staging an intervention for him. Her father told the outlet that they were all very worried for him, but they definitely wanted the best. Mackenzie’s father did not seem hesitant to let his little girl marry Ryan and felt like he was a good guy for her.

This will be Mackenzie Standifer’s second marriage. She was married to her ex in 2013, and the pair’s divorce was finalized in 2016. Mackenzie revealed on Teen Mom OG that she tied the knot with her former spouse while she was still in high school, and she was five months pregnant with her son at the time.
