‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ News: Teresa Giudice Spends Memorial Day Weekend With Melissa Gorga
Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga have put their strained relationship behind them.
Following years of turmoil, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga appear to be closer than ever, and as fans prepare for the upcoming premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8, the sisters-in-law celebrated the Memorial Day holiday with their families at the Jersey Shore.
Although Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga didn’t share any photos together, they posted a number of shots of their kids enjoying one another’s company and shared shots of themselves by a pool.
“Hanging out with my baby Audriana,” Teresa Giudice wrote in the caption of her poolside photo with her youngest daughter.
A short time later, Teresa Giudice shared another photo of her daughter Audriana with her cousins, Gino and Joey Gorga, along with the caption, “These 3 melt my heart. I just want to squeeze them.”
In her own photo by the pool, Melissa Gorga told fans she was spending time with her godchild. She also shared an additional photo of Antonia Gorga with Milania Guidice with a few other girls posing in their swimsuits.
“Bunch of beautiful girls enjoying the shore,” Melissa Gorga wrote in the caption of her photo.
As for the ladies’ husbands, Joe Giudice is currently serving a 41-month prison term at Fort Dix for charges of bank and wire fraud while Joe Gorga wasn’t seen in photos from the Shore on social media.
Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law have been spending tons of time together in recent months, and as they continue to work hard at their new restaurant in New Jersey, they are expected to continue with their close-knit relationship.
Teresa Giudice was previously estranged from her sister-in-law, but after receiving a prison sentence due to an allegedly fraudulent bankruptcy filing years ago, she and the Gorgas mended their relationship as they learned to put their children’s relationship before their ongoing issues.
In the year and a half since Teresa Giudice was released from the Danbury Correctional Facility in Connecticut, she and the Gorgas have been hard at work on their new restaurant, which opened its doors earlier this month.
On Instagram, Teresa Giudice and her family members all shared tons of photos from the restaurant’s opening, revealing a behind the scenes look at the food and old photos of the Giudices and Gorgas.
“So happy to announce our new business venture – Gorga’s Homemade Pasta & Pizza in East Hanover NJ! Two things I’m so passionate about – family & good home cooked Italian food! Hope you can stop by!!” Teresa Giudice wrote on Instagram earlier this month.
Weeks after opening their new restaurant, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga enjoyed a short vacation with their kids, and soon, they will be returning to Bravo TV with their co-stars, including Siggy Flicker and Dolores Catania.
In addition to the returning cast members from The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7, Danielle Staub, who left the series after Season 2, has reportedly returned as well. Although there has been no official word from Bravo TV, Staub was seen filming scenes for the series with Teresa Giudice earlier this year in Florida.
As fans may have noticed, Teresa Giudice and Danielle Staub, who feuded heavily during the first couple of seasons of the reality series, made amends several months ago. They even attended a yoga class together after settling their differences and reportedly reuniting for Season 8.
No word yet on a premiere date for The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8.
