Nicki Minaj and Nas just continue to inspire dating rumors. Even though the couple has not made things official, their respective fan bases really, really want them to get together—officially. As it turns out, it is not just the fans who want Nas and Nicki to make things official. Nas, himself, also wants Nicki Minaj to commit to him.
“They hang at each other’s pads or at the recording studio. Nas would love to wine and dine Nicki, give her the full treatment, but she’s keeping it cool for now. Of course, Nas would love to date Nicki officially, he’s made that crystal clear to her, but he’s happy, and making do, with the way things are for now.”
It would seem that Nas is totally ready to take his relationship with Nicki Minaj to the next level. So, why is Nicki Minaj dragging her feet? Reports suggest that Nicki Minaj’s hesitation could stem from her recent breakup with Meek Mill, which ended on a sour note.
There had been rumblings of discontent between the hip-hop couple, who first got together in 2015, but no one predicted that they were about to split this past January.

After Nicki Minaj announced their breakup on Instagram, a source close to the couple spoke to E! News and explained exactly what happened between them.
“They were fighting on and off for a little while about a few topics that upset Nicki. They had a bigger fight and then called it quits,” an insider told E! News, exclusively.
As far as how Nicki Minaj was faring?
“She is doing great and is just putting her mind and soul into her music at this time,” the source added.
“She can’t predict the future, so getting back with Meek could happen down the road again, because even with fights, she will always have a love for him.”
Though there hasn’t been much drama between Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill, it doesn’t seem like they’ve been able to remain cordial. Meek Mill reportedly gave Nicki’s rival, Remy Ma, ammunition to use against her in a rap diss, which prompted Nicki Minaj to respond to him with her own song. Following the release of Nicki’s song, a source close to Meek Mill shared how he was feeling.
“He hates her and hates himself for ever being with her,” the insider told Hollywood Life.”Meek is ready to respond,” the source shares, adding, “He’s ready to verbally spar with Nicki.” Look out, world!
Since then, however, things have been pretty peaceful as far as Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are concerned.

It would seem that Nicki Minaj is finally ready to move on from Meek Mill. Even if she’s not ready to dive in head first with Nas, she is at least enjoying his company. Hollywood Life previously reported that Nas and Nicki Minaj had been getting rather cozy with each other.
“Nicki [Minaj] and Nas talk every day, and see each other a lot—they’re getting really close, but Nicki wants to take her time and not rush things,” a source close to Nicki told Hollywood Life.
“She’s still stinging from the Meek [Mill] break-up, so she doesn’t want to jump straight into another serious relationship.”
It’s unclear where Nas and Nicki Minaj’s relationship will go from here, but it seems that he’s on board, at least. Only time will tell what comes of their relationship.
