Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is officially off the market, according to a new report by Radar Online .
Per the report, the troubled reality star tied the knot Tuesday at a local courthouse with her boyfriend of three months, Courtland Rogers.
Evans sister, Ashleigh Wilson, told Radar Online that the surprise nuptials “shocked” everyone in the family.
Ashleigh said:
“My mother was totally shocked and had to hear it from someone else. Our whole family is shocked because they have not been dating very long.”
As for the reasoning behind the ‘shotgun’ wedding, Ashleigh said:
“I’m sure she did this to distract from all the drug accusations that have been flying around and of course she thinks it will help her get custody of [her son] Jace back from mom if she is married. At this point, after all that she has been through, she should know better than this.”
Evans, 20, was arrested in June and charged with possession of drugs after a violent fight involving her former fiancé Gary Head, against whom she later gained a restraining order.
The charges against her were later dropped.
Although Ashleigh claims Jenelle tied the knot for custody reasons and others say the quick marriage was because Evans was pregnant , the Teen Mom star assured fans she and her new hubby truly married for love and are planning another ceremony in the spring for their family and friends.
