Chelsea Houska Celebrates Her Son’s Four-Month Birthday [Photo]
Chelsea Houska’s baby boy, Watson Cole DeBoer, turned four-months-old on Thursday.
As she and her Teen Mom 2 co-stars, including Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer, and Kailyn Lowry, continue to film the eighth season of their MTV series, Chelsea Houska is focused on her role as a mom and recently shared a sweet photo of her son on Instagram.
“This guy is 4 months already! And those hands are ALWAYS in his mouth!” Houska wrote in the caption of her May 25 photo, which featured Watson lying on his back while wearing an adorable deer antler onesie.
Chelsea Houska and her husband, Cole DeBoer, welcomed their first child together, son Watson, on January 25, 2017, just months after they tied the knot in a small ceremony among a limited group of their closest friends and family. At the time of her nuptials, Chelsea Houska was about five months pregnant.
Chelsea Houska is also mom to seven-year-old Aubree from her previous relationship with Adam Lind. As Teen Mom 2 fans will recall, Houska and Lind dated on and off for several years but ultimately called it quits and moved on with new partners.
Following the debut of Chelsea Houska’s relationship with Cole DeBoer in 2014, Lind’s engagement to Stasia Huber was announced. However, in the months since the couple became engaged, their relationship has been on and off, and it is currently unclear whether or not they are still together.
Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer have plans to welcome more children in the future, but so far, they haven’t revealed when they will further expand their family.
Last year, before announcing she was pregnant with her second child, which was the first for DeBoer, Houska spoke to People magazine about her desire for a big family.
“I feel like I want three more, but everyone always looks at me crazy when I saw that, so maybe I’ll have one more and then we’ll decide exactly how many!” she said at the time. “I think I would want a boy somewhere in the mix.”
Chelsea Houska and her Teen Mom 2 co-star, Jenelle Evans were pregnant at the same time, and while Houska wasn’t due until February, she and Evans ended up giving birth just one day apart.
While Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer waited until they were together more than two years to wed, the reality star and mother of two knew DeBoer was the one for her as soon as she laid eyes on him in South Dakota in summer 2014.
“He was across at the other pump,” Chelsea Houska recalled to Us Weekly magazine in 2015. “And I looked, and he was staring at me. We didn’t even talk. We just kept looking at each other because we’re both shy. And then we were passing each other when we left because we lived out towards the same way.”
“I went home to my friend and I was like, ‘I just saw the guy I’m going to marry at the gas station, but we didn’t talk,'” she admitted. “And a few days later, he contacted me on social media and was like, ‘Hi. I got gas next to you the other day.’ And I was like, ‘Thank you, Jesus.'”
Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer moved in together in summer 2015 and became engaged months later.
Chelsea Houska and her family, including her husband, Cole DeBoer, and her kids, Aubree and Watson, are currently in production on Teen Mom 2 Season 8. The show will likely return to MTV sometime later this year.
