Gwen Stefani, 47, did her best to boost her boyfriend’s spirits after his team lost on the season finale of The Voice, the Daily Mail reported.

Gwen posted an Instagram video clip where Blake Shelton, 40, could be heard saying he felt like a “loser.”

“I don’t think you’re a loser, I think you’re a winner still.”

Blake smiled at her and replied that he takes it back.

“You do? I take it back, I think I’m a winner.”

Alicia Keys’ first win.

On Tuesday night’s finale of The Voice, Chris Blue ended up winning over Blake’s contestant, Duski.

Alicia Keys won for the first time on the reality singing competition show. Shelton did not act bitter and gave the 36-year-old R&B singer and coach a big hug congratulating her as confetti fell from the sky.

Blake Shelton has had the most success on The Voice out of all the coaches. He has been a coach on every season and has had five winners in his 12 seasons.

Shelton’s girlfriend, Stefani, has coached three seasons on the show (7, 9, and 12) but has never had a winner on her team.

How does Blake feel that Gwen is leaving The Voice?

Gwen will not be returning to coach on the next season of The Voice. Shelton reacted to her departure from the show on Facebook Live with Entertainment Tonight and fellow coach Alicia Keys, who is also not returning next season.

“I’ve looked ahead. This is like those Harry Potter movies. Characters you think are gone, then they come back. I’ve looked ahead on the script and Alicia, they have her coming back.”

Alicia Keys then joked that Gwen was definitely coming back and that hopefully “Gwen can replace [Blake].”

The R&B singer also teased that Blake was probably happy to see her go, considering she was “his main competition.”

Gwen confirmed during the interview that she had no plans of coming back to the NBC singing competition show but that she loves being a part of the show and would love to come back in the future.

“I’ll be here to hang out and hang out with Blake.”

Blake said that he loved having Gwen by his side. He said it builds up his ego to be with her but it is also a “crashing blow to your ego” when he realizes all the cheers are for his girlfriend.

“But it’s still exciting at the same time. Being in the vicinity of her is unbelievable.”

Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson have signed on to be the next round of female judges on the upcoming season of The Voice. Both Clarson and Hudson competed on American Idol, which led to their success and fame. Alica Keys said that she is excited to see the women experience the other side of a reality singing competition.

“If anything, they would be even more understanding of what the artists are going through and experiencing, having gone through it themselves and being very successful.”
