Javi Marroquin Is Looking For Love After Kailyn Lowry Divorce
Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin is ready to find love after his messy split from Kailyn Lowry.
As he prepares to travel to Ocean City, Maryland for a much-needed vacation with friends, the longtime reality dad has shared a re-tweet from a fan which suggested he appear as the next Bachelor.
“[Javi Marroquin] should be the next [Bachelor]. Do you agree?” the message read.
Javi Marroquin and Kailyn Lowry confirmed their split in May 2016 and months later, she became pregnant with the baby of Chris Lopez. Meanwhile, Marroquin has engaged in a couple of short-lived romances with Cassie Bucka and Madison Channing-Walls. As fans will recall, Marroquin went public with Bucka in last 2016 but split just weeks after debuting their relationship online.
“She’s amazing, but Cassie has been really hurt in the past so it’s hard for her to not think that she’ll be hurt again,” Javi Marroquin explained to Radar Online after their split. “I don’t think she was ready for everything to come at her at once.”
While rumors swirled in regard to a possible reunion with Kailyn Lowry at the time Javi Marroquin split from Cassie Bucka, he quickly shot down the idea of a reconciliation and made it clear that he hoped to one day be back together with Bucka.
“She’s an amazing girl though and if she ever does allow someone to love her that’ll be a lucky guy,” he confessed. “I hope it’ll be me, but not right now I guess.”
Javi Marroquin went on to reveal that his three-year-old son with Lowry, Lincoln Marshall, had met Bucka and frequently asked about her after their breakup.
When Javi Marroquin first moved on from Kailyn Lowry, the now-pregnant Teen Mom 2 star hinted that she was annoyed by her ex-husband’s online PDA with a tweet that said, “Remember guys, you have to blast your new relationship all over social media or it ain’t real.”
Months after his split from Cassie Bucka, Javi Marroquin went public with Real World star Madison Channing-Walls after enjoying a night out in Philadelphia. As fans will recall, Marroquin and Channing-Walls both shared a series of photos of their trip and days later, Channing-Walls confirmed their romance to E! News, revealing they first struck up a relationship on social media.
“Javi and I are definitely together,” Channing-Walls confirmed to the outlet. “We are definitely boyfriend and girlfriend… I love that he is a gentleman and I like his core values and that he has morals and just what he stands for.”
According to Javi Marroquin, he and the Real World star enjoyed a bottle of wine at dinner before meeting up with a few friends for a night of dancing and drinking.
“I haven’t introduced [Madison] to [my son] Lincoln yet. I learned from my past mistakes where I introduced him way too early on in a relationship, so now I know better,” Javi Marroquin explained.
Meanwhile, Channing-Walls appeared to be more open to introducing Javi Marroquin to her daughter.
“I’m really excited for him to come to Austin next month. I’m going to introduce him to my friends and family and [my daughter] Harper and yeah it should just be a really good time and then we are already making plans for this summer together,” she said.
Unfortunately, just a short time after the interview, Javi Marroquin and Madison Channing-Walls called it quits and he’s been single ever since.
Javi Marroquin and his family, including his ex-wife, Kailyn Lowry, and their son, are currently in production on Teen Mom 2 Season 8.
