Angelina Jolie And Kids Move Into New Mansion Near Brad Pitt’s Residence In Wake Of Reconciliation Rumors

Angelina Jolie and her kids have moved into a $25 million mansion in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 18, months after the actress’s split from Brad Pitt. The mansion was previously owned by legendary filmmaker Cecil B. Demille.

Photos of Jolie’s new mansion have been published online, showing delivery men moving a huge number of crates and boxes from a large moving truck.

As reported by Ace Showbiz, Angelina’s new residence is a 2.5-acre estate comprising six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a swimming pool, large gardens, and a tea house. It also comes with a beautiful library and an old farmhouse kitchen.

Interestingly, Angelina Jolie’s new home is located just under two miles away from Brad Pitt’s residence, and sources claim that the move was done to make it easier for the kids to visit both parents. Their six kids are named Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.

“Brad and Angelina both agree that living close to each other would make the transition easier for the kids,” a source revealed. “Neither one of them want the kids being shuffled back and forth between long distances, and Malibu is just too far away.”

Even more interesting is the report that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to call off the divorce. In fact, sources claim that they’ve been dating again, albeit in secret.

“They’ve been seeing each other several times a week lately,” a source claimed. “Slowly the old feelings have started to return. They’ve been open with each other like they haven’t been in years, and it’s like the are now dating again.”

The source added that Jolie and Pitt decided to keep their renewed romance a secret for the meantime for the welfare of their kids. As most will understand, it’s a confusing time for their kids in the wake of the pair’s legal battles and the media circus that surrounded the divorce.

“Brad and Angie are keeping the reinvigorated relationship under the radar for now because they don’t want to confuse the kids,” the source said. “The welfare of the children is their priority. It’s very obvious how much Brad is still in love with Angelina, and she still loves him, too. She sees the effort he’s been putting in, and it’s winning her over.”

While matters between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been initially contentious following their split, it appears that the pair has managed to set aside their differences for the sake of their kids.

In terms of media backlash, Angelina had the shorter end of the stick as people turned against her following the child abuse case she filed against Pitt. The online vitriol against the Maleficent actress died down when Brad Pitt opened up about their relationship in a revealing GQ Style interview. In the interview, Pitt revealed his struggles with alcohol addiction, and in his telling somehow took the brunt of the blame for his failed relationship with Jolie.

“I can’t remember a day since I got out of college when I wasn’t boozing or had a spliff, or something,” he said. “I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family. But even this last year… I was boozing too much. It’s just become a problem.”

Brad Pitt also revealed that he has sobered up since his split with Angelina Jolie.

“I’m really happy it’s been half a year now, which is bittersweet, but I’ve got my feelings in my fingertips again. I think that’s part of the human challenge: You either deny them all of your life or you answer them and evolve.”

As far as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s kids are concerned, the actor said that his main focus moving forward is his family.

“Family first. People on their deathbeds don’t talk about what they obtained or were awarded. They talk about their loved ones or their regrets — that seems to be the menu,” Pitt said. “I say that as someone who’s let the work take me away. Kids are so delicate. They absorb everything. They need to have their hand held and things explained. They need to be listened to. When I get in that busy work mode, I’m not hearing. I want to be better at that.”
