Justin Bieber Booed: Canadian Crowd Taunts Bieber During Half Time Performance

Justin Bieber did not have a pleasant time at the 100th annual Grey Cup in Toronto when he was booed during his half time performance. The Canadian Press newswire reported that the snub to Bieber came after he decided to wear overalls when receiving the British Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal from Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper.

Bieber adressed the sold out crowd at the Rogers Center of mostly older football fans saying:

“It’s an honor to be here at the Grey Cup in Canada.”

The crowd responded to Bieber and his fellow performer Carly Rae Jepsen with a round of audible boos.

Bieber either was unfazed by the booing or he didn’t hear it because when he came off the stage he immediately Tweeted out:

“honored to perform for my country. #ProudCanadian. Good luck in the second half. thanks.”

Bieber was not as amusing when he Tweeted out to the world after going to receive his award from the Canadian Prime Minister:

“I met the Prime Minister in overalls lol.”

He attached an Instagram picture of himself standing next to the Canadian Prime Minister in his informal attire.

Local Press was even more critical of Bieber because they recounted that when he went to meet President Obama at the White House he wore a white formal tuxedo.

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper took it even lighter Tweeting out after the ceremony:

“In fairness to Justin Bieber, I told him I would be wearing my overalls too.”

Do you think Justin Bieber went over the top when he met the Canadian Prime Minister in his overalls?
