Can we believe in these four NFL teams?

Through four weeks of the NFL season there are a few surprises out there, and fans are wondering if they can believe in a few teams. Here is a look at those teams and a few reasons fans can start to believe in them.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals should be a great team, but somehow they always mange to mess it up. This year so far they are 3-1 and have beaten the defending Super Bowl Champions, a very good Green Bay Packers team, and come within one plat of beating the Denver Broncos. Their schedule doesn’t get any easier, but with a healthy Carson Palmer and an inspired Chad Ochocinco this is a team that could do very well

Denver Broncos

This maybe the most surprising team of 2009 beyond the 0-4 Tennessee Titans. They are 4-0 after trading away their franchise QB and spending training camp dealing with disgruntled WR Brandon Marshall. This team looked to be quite a mess but winning cures all ills. Most of the credit belongs to the Defense and new Coordinator Mike Nolan. If they continue to play like this they could easily win their division. Big tests are coming in the next few week with game against the Patrios and the Chargers.

San Francisco 49ers

Maybe this team doesn’t need Michael Crabtree after all. At 3-1 this team is off to a very hot start. They also have an easier schedule the rest of the way than most, the big challenges will be against the Colts, Packers, and Eagles but the rest of the schedule against very bad opponents. Let us see how the play next week against Atlanta, in a game where this team could earn some big respect.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints are 4-0 and have one of the best offenses in the league, or maybe even ever. However most people overlook their defense. While it may not be great, it sure has been effective. The Saints are at their bye week waiting for the Giants to come to town. If they can beat them, then this is truly an elite NFL team.
