WWE rumors about WrestleMania 33 are surfacing each day trying to predict the possible outcomes of the forthcoming event. With the kind of bookings WWE has chosen for the event, the results look very predictable.
The past WrestleMania events were completely unpredictable and exciting, making the event truly the show of immortals. It is imperative for WWE to keep the fans intrigued for a successful PPV show and future events.
WWE rumors suggest that the company is planning to bring a few unexpected superstars to delight the fans. Here is a list of superstars who could make a surprise appearance at the WrestleMania 33.
Asuka is a Japanese wrestler who is the current singles champion at NXT. She had defeated Bayley for the Women’s title and is currently the longest reigning singles champion in NXT history.
Asuka is a dominant wrestler and not even the likes of Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch can match her dominance. With the fan following she has garnered at NXT, the main roster call seems certain.
It is also rumored that she may join forces with Nia Jax in the near future as both bring their unique style and can make a formidable team. WWE could be planning her interference in the yet unannounced Nia Jax’s fatal four-way match for the RAW Women’s Championship.
Kane has been missing in action after defeating Luke Harper on November 22, and there is no information about his return. So, his surprise appearance at WrestleMania 33 could be a shocker moment for fans.
It is rumored that Kane will return at WrestleMania 33 and interfere in the Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns match. Kane has been poorly used in the past few years, and this could be a perfect moment to bring him back in the scheme of things.
It would be interesting to see as to whether he assists the Deadman in winning or goes against his brother, hinting a new storyline for the brothers. It has also been reported that the big red machine had taken time off to focus on his business and his political career.
Shinsuke Nakamura’s main roster debut has been awaited for quite some time and looks like WWE is planning it at the grandest event of the year, WrestleMania 33.
It would be interesting to see where he will be used by WWE. Nakamura has expressed his desire to face AJ Styles in the ring, but that match seems unlikely this year.
It is also possible that he would be a part of Andre The Giant battle, similar to Baron Corbin, who had won the battle and later received a prominent debut. Shinsuke Nakamura is a talented wrestler, and it would be a delight for fans to see him on the main roster.
The appearance of The Rock at WrestleMania should no longer come as a surprise considering his presence in past few WrestleManias.
The Rock is loved by fans, and WWE uses this to their advantage with his occasional appearances. Fans also love watching him both in and out of the ring.
It is highly unlikely that he will enter the ring considering that he had a showdown against Erick Rowan at last year’s WrestleMania. Expect some confrontation or a pre-show talk by the Rock.
WWE had distanced itself from Hulk Hogan after the racist remarks made by him surfaced during his trial. Since the case was ruled in Hogan’s favor, WWE rumors about his return have garnered momentum, as reported by PW Mania.
Hulk Hogan had recently announced that he would be in Orlando on March 30 for the opening of his Beach Shop. Following this announcement, both experts and fans believe that his surprise appearance at WrestleMania is entirely possible.
It is worth noting that WWE has started adding Hogan into WWE network’s promotional videos and this could be a sign of his return to the WWE. In a contrary report, Hogan had tweeted that he had no plans to be at WrestleMania 33, but a clarification tweet does further increases the speculation.
