Ex-Porn Star Jenna Jameson Ordered To Pay $92,000

Former porn star Jenna Jameson was ordered to pay $92,000 to the Hollywood Palms theater group after she failed to show up at two scheduled movie theater appearances last year.

Judge Patrick Leston issued his ruling today saying that Jameson, whose real surname is Massoli, had to reimburse the theater owners for lost revenue.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Jameson was scheduled to appear at two theaters in the Chicago suburbs last year for a showing of her movie Zombie Strippers. The theater said that several people asked to have their tickets refunded when Jameson cancelled her appearance.

At the time, the former porn star said that she was too ill to travel from Hollywood to Chicago to appear at the movie theaters. The theater owners, however, said that Jameson was not ill and spent the weekend partying in California.

Theater attorney Kevin Mahoney said:

“She was too sick to come to Illinois. She seemed fine in Hollywood.”

Hollywood Palms CEO Ted Bulthaup said that the company lost about $42,000 in ticket reimbursements. They also lost money on travel expenses for Jameson, promotional costs, and food and beverage revenue. The judge also awarded the group $50,000 for lost publicity.

Jameson, who starred in several adult films, played Kat in the B-horror film Zombie Strippers.
