Brian Austin Green Thanks Reese Witherspoon For Private Birth

Brian Austin Green would like to thank Reese Witherspoon on behalf of himself, his wife Megan Fox, and the couple’s newborn son. Why? Basically because Witherspoon is more famous than they are.

Green told Ryan Seacrest during a Tuesday night chat that he appreciates everything Witherspoon did to make sure that he and Fox had some privacy after they welcomed son, Noah Shannon, on September 27.

We previously reported that Fox had given birth quietly and out of the media eye. That’s true, but Green opines that Witherspoon’s own delivery, son Tennessee on September 27, is to blame for that.

Media was so distracted by Witherspoon, husband Jim Toth, and their new baby boy that we didn’t catch Green and Fox slipping out the back door with their own new addition.

“We got really lucky. And I’ve been wanting to send Reese Witherspoon flowers for, like, a month and a half. ‘Cause she actually gave birth, I think, the day before us in Santa Monica,” Green explained.

“We were lucky enough to go in at 2:30 in the morning to the hospital and nobody knew. We were there for two days … and we heard Reese was at her place and had a baby, and we got out of the hospital and nobody knew [about us].”

“We got home and thought, ‘This is unbelievable,'” Green added. “Because we weren’t expecting to get away with it. So we just figured we would go with it as long as we could.”

It took nearly two weeks for Megan Fox to confirm the news that her and Green’s first child had arrived.

“We are humbled to have the opportunity to call ourselves the parents of this beautiful soul and I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to know this kind of boundless, immaculate love,” Fox wrote on Facebook. “Thanks to those of you who wish to send your positive energy and well wishes.”

That two weeks of blessed privacy have earned Witherspoon a special treat from Green. “Reese, your ice cream cake is on the way,” he joked.
