Kanye West And Kim Kardashian Aren’t Divorcing Over Donald Trump Meeting [Debunked]
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian aren’t divorcing, or at least not yet, contrary to a report by Life & Style claiming that the couple is fighting over the American rapper’s meeting with President-elect Donald Trump.
Gossip Cop debunked the report, which was entitled “After Kanye Visits Trump, Kim’s Ready For A Divorce.”
According to the alleged fake news report, the meeting between West and Trump was the “final straw” that made Kardashian decide to end their marriage.
The “insider” for the magazine added that Kim “feels like his (Kanye’s) meeting with Trump was a slap in the face,” and she “has tried to protect Kanye from himself for years, but she can no longer do it.”
“Kim is furious at Kanye over the meeting,” the so-called “source” claimed. “Kanye’s actions are hurting Kim’s brand. She’s ready to divorce him.”

Gossip Cop then further threw into question the magazine’s credibility as a news source, pointing out the publication’s February issue, which claimed that Kardashian was planning to divorce Kanye because of a Twitter meltdown. Of course, everybody knows that the divorce never happened. In fact, the pair has been spotted going on a date night a couple of days ago. To top it off, multiple reports claim that Kanye and Kim are planning to celebrate the holidays together.

The past couple of weeks were a convenient time for media outlets to publish fake divorce news about the couple, considering the relationship problems they’ve been having lately. As reported by the Inquisitr, Kanye’s recent hospitalization due to a breakdown, coupled with Kim’s anxiety after the Paris robbery, have led to some relationship troubles.
Kimye divorce rumors have been emerging with stunning regularity over the past couple of months. In early December, a “source” for US Weekly claimed that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were on the brink of divorce.
“It will take some time before she can do anything,” the friend said, also adding that Kardashian is requestng full custody of their children, North and Saint, “but she doesn’t want to stay married… She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he’s getting the help he needs, but she’s felt trapped for a while.”
Just when almost everybody was convinced that the Kimye marriage is on its last legs, the official Keeping Up With the Kardashians Twitter account posted a tweet claiming that the divorce rumors were false.
Someone close to Kardashian’s legal team also confirmed to E! News that Kanye and Kim aren’t divorcing.
“I know for a fact that’s not true,” the source said.
While it may be true that West and Kardashian aren’t planning on separating any time soon, there’s wide speculation that it can happen in 2017.
Even Perez Hilton believes that a divorce between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian is probably forthcoming next year, as he pointed out during an appearance on Good Morning Britain with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.
It’s getting more and more difficult to gauge which reports should be taken seriously given the current state of celebrity journalism these days. But if there’s anyone people trust more when it comes to reliable celebrity news, it’s Perez Hilton. After all, Hilton is famous for being one of the “most connected men in Hollywood” since he launched his celebrity blog in 2011.
“There is definitely trouble in Kardashian-West land.
“I’m not very optimistic … if I look into my mirror ball of predictions I would say that at some time in 2017 Kim and Kanye will be getting divorced,” he said of the couple.
The celebrity blogger also talked about the couple’s recent attempts to save their floundering marriage.
“The very latest is that they have entered couple therapy and I hope he’s also getting his own therapy. He is under the care of doctors but in America they over prescribed — he may just be getting medication.”
“It’s clear that he needs a lot of help,” he said.
