Selena Gomez May Have Allegedly ‘Stalked’ Justin Bieber Before Rehab, But She Didn’t Ditch Taylor Swift

Selena Gomez has been accused of stalking Justin Bieber and of ditching her longtime friend, Taylor Swift. However, according to Gossip Cop, at least one of these rumors is completely false.

Earlier this month, a report surfaced claiming Selena Gomez, 24, had reportedly been keeping tabs on Bieber, via social media, before she allegedly entered into a weeks-long stay at a rehab facility outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

“[Selena Gomez] was stalking Justin on social media,” an insider alleged to Life & Style magazine. “She would drink a lot and could barely do anything but talk or think about Justin.”

According to the outlet, Selena Gomez bombarded her friends with old photos of herself and Justin Bieber prior to the start of her reported stint in rehab, despite the fact that he was engaged in a relationship with Sofia Richie at the time.

“It was creepy,” the insider said of Selena Gomez’s photos to friends. “She wouldn’t stop. She said she missed him and the pictures made her happy. But her friends thought it just made her look sick.”

Prior to Selena Gomez’s career hiatus months ago, she and Justin Bieber engaged in a very public Instagram feud in which the singer called out Bieber for allegedly mistreating his fans. As fans of the former couple will recall, Gomez told Bieber to keep his relationship private after he threatened to make his Instagram account private due to backlash over his relationship with Richie.

After seeing Selena Gomez’s post, Bieber engaged in a full-blown feud with his ex-girlfriend and accused her of using him for attention. Then, she suggested he had cheated on her multiple times, which prompted him to accuse her of the same.

Weeks later, Selena Gomez released a statement to People Magazine in which she revealed she was suffering from depression, anxiety and panic attacks.

“Justin is such poison to Selena,” another insider told Life & Style. “Even when he isn’t around, she is still self-destructing because of him.”

According to the report, Selena Gomez reportedly vowed not to contact the 22-year-old singer during her treatment, but eventually, she allegedly reached out to her ex-boyfriend.

“[Selena Gomez] addiction to Justin is what everyone is afraid is going to take the ultimate toll,” the insider explained. “Justin takes her to a dark place mentally, and she really can’t let go.”

As for Selena Gomez’s relationship with Taylor Swift, they are reportedly doing just fine despite a report claiming Gomez had ditched Swift after finding her to be a bad influence.

Earlier this month, a Radar Online report claimed there was “bad blood” between Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift and suggested Gomez cut ties with the “Wildest Dreams” singer, but according to Gossip Cop, the story never happened.

There is “some serious ‘Bad Blood’ right now” between Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift, the source alleged, which has reportedly led Gomez to “shut out” Swift. According to the incorrect report, Selena Gomez’s counselors advised her to avoid Swift.

“Since [Selena Gomez] got out of rehab, she has been cutting out all of the bad influences in her life — and that definitely included Taylor,” the false source stated.

Taylor Swift was said to be too “wild” by the source, who continued to claim that her friendship was allegedly “toxic to the fragile” Gomez.

“Taylor is always trying to one-up Selena, and make it look like Selena is just lucky to be her friend. Selena is just completely over it,” the source claimed, adding that Selena Gomez was now surrounding herself with positive influences and “Taylor, unfortunately, does not make the cut anymore.”
