Ryan Serhant Goes On His Honeymoon With Emilia: How He’s Celebrating Big Year
Ryan Serhant got married this past summer in Greece to his long-time girlfriend, Emilia Bechrakis. The two filmed their wedding special for Bravo earlier this year, and they are already filming the new season of Million Dollar Listing: New York. But Ryan decided to take some time away from New York to enjoy his honeymoon. And just a few days before Christmas, Ryan Serhant and his wife, Emilia, decided to jump on a plane and travel to New Zealand, where they are enjoying their honeymoon.
According to a new Bravo report, Ryan Serhant is now speaking out about his big year, and it sounds like he has had a great year both in his personal life and his business. Of course, Ryan and Emilia have almost been married for six months, but they had to wait until Christmas to find time to go on their honeymoon. No word on how long they will be gone for, but it sounds like they may be spending Christmas in New Zealand.
“I can’t believe this year is over. My team grew in size by 20%. We increased gross commissions by almost 40%. And I got married! And I’m on the way to New Zealand for our honeymoon! I have everything I need. Including the woman taking this photo,” Ryan Serhant revealed on his Instagram account, according to Bravo, sharing a picture of himself from the plane.

Of course, Ryan Serhant and Fredrik Eklund have been somewhat silent about filming the new season of Million Dollar Listing: New York. Earlier this year, Luis Ortiz surprised everyone by quitting not only the show but also the industry of real estate. He spent the summer traveling around Europe and he even attended Ryan Serhant’s wedding in Greece. Maybe Ryan and Fredrik are filming the show with a new real estate agent and are just learning about this new cast member.
When Ryan Serhant stopped by Watch What Happens Live this fall, he confirmed that Luis’ decision to leave the show and leave real estate. He kept saying that he wanted to find happiness, and he hadn’t found it in real estate like Ryan Serhant and Fredrik Eklund. And when Ryan was asked about the decision, he said he saw it as being real, according to Bravo.
Ryan revealed that Luis’ decision to retire “is 100 percent for real,” adding that Luis said “over and over and over” on the show, he left real estate because “he chose happiness.”
And when Andy Cohen asked Ryan about whether he thought Luis was happy, he replied, “I think so. He’s been traveling a lot. I follow him online. He seems like he has a really great life.”

When Luis was asked about leaving the show, he told Bravo that he wanted to choose a path a happiness. And he thought that his co-stars totally understood where he was coming from.
“I think they’re not happy about it because I think we, as a trio, make such a good cast and I think the show is so successful because of the three of us together,” Luis has revealed to Bravo about leaving the show, adding, “I think they’re bummed, but they’re happy for me. Both of them are always going to have a special place in my heart. I give them both keys to two separate penthouses in my heart, south-facing [with] floor-to-ceiling windows. They’ll always be a part of my life and I think as I actually go into an industry, I think we will now talk differently because we won’t be rivals in real estate. We’ll actually be happy to hear about each other’s successes.”
