Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Shut Down Divorce Rumors With Public Outing Amid Sex Tape Drama

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been facing rumors of a possible divorce for the past several weeks but on Sunday night, they shot down rumors of a possible split with a dinner date at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California.

According to a report on December 19, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West hadn’t been seen out together since before the 36-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was robbed in Paris in early October.

In a photo shared of the couple by TMZ, Kim Kardashian was seen in a fur coat and white dress as her husband walked behind her in sweat pants and white tennis shoes. As for her jewelry, her diamond rings were nowhere in sight. Instead, the mother of two wore a simple wedding band.

TMZ also said that despite the ongoing rumors regarding their marriage being on the rocks, their sources say there is no truth to the reports.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been keeping a low profile in recent months but when it comes to appearances, they’ve regularly been seen in the headlines due to Kardashian’s robbery in October and West’s breakdown in November. As fans will recall, West was hospitalized weeks after Kardashian was robbed and remained in the hospital for several days.

Now, however, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly focused on spending quality time with one another.

“[Kanye West]’s all about keeping up with his appearance in the media and it was all his idea to take take [Kim Kardashian] out to dinner,” an insider told Hollywood Life on December 19 of the couple’s dinner date in Santa Monica. “Make no mistake, ‘Ye wanted to show face and let the world know that he and Kim are one strong and united front.”

“The meal was cool. They were bundled up close to one another during the meal and very affectionate. It was very refreshing for [Kim Kardashian] to be out in her old stomping grounds and for her to feel protected by both Kanye and their bodyguards.”

“It was just the two of them,” an eyewitness said of the outing. “[Kim Kardashian] didn’t smile much, but Kanye seemed cheerful. They just had dinner and talked for a long time. They were friendly and polite.”

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West got married in May 2014, nearly one year after they welcomed their first child, daughter North West, now 3. Then, in December of last year, the couple welcomed their second child together, son Saint West, now 1.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been facing rumors of marital turmoil for weeks and at one point, a source told People magazine that the couple was living apart.

“He is receiving outpatient care somewhere else with a medical team,” said the source. “[Kim Kardashian] still seems concerned but is supportive. They don’t know for how long Kanye will need outpatient care.”

In other Kim Kardashian and Kanye West news, the rapper was recently featured in a report regarding a past sex tape, which one of his family members reportedly tried to sell. On December 19, the Daily Mail shared an interview with West’s cousin, Lawrence Franklin, who claimed West had paid a relative $250,000 after the unnamed person threatened to leak the clip, which allegedly featured West and a light-skinned African-American woman.

Franklin went on to inform the outlet that the rapper was so upset by the incident that he began to withdraw from his family and became “disconnected.” West also reportedly wrote the song “Real Friends” about the ordeal.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have both stayed mum on news of their possible split.
