‘Days Of Our Lives’: Andre DiMera Helps Abigail Through Emotional Turmoil – Will Chad And Gabi Feel Guilty On ‘DOOL’? [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives fans were not happy when Abigail Devereaux (Marci Miller) saw Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) kissing. After Abby fled the mansion, Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) seemed to truly try to help Abigail through her heartbreak. Even though he likely has ulterior motives, a part of him seems to also care for Chad’s wife. Will Chad and Gabi feel guilty once they find out that the young woman is still alive?

After Abigail left the DiMera mansion and went to the site of her memorial on Days Of Our Lives, Andre soon came to talk to the young woman. She held her tightly and asked if she had any medication. He thought Abby was having another panic attack, but she had to explain that she was simply feeling sad. It was something that many viewers might have missed. However, it showed how Andre is not experienced with emotions or how to comfort others. Even so, he did his best to talk some sense into Abby.

To be fair, Andre’s intentions are not pure. He has always wanted his hands on the DiMera fortune. It is true that his association with Abigail will have him closer to it, or at least that is what he thinks. However, over the past several months, he has also grown to care about Chad’s wife. Unfortunately, money will probably always be his top priority. If it came to choosing between helping Abby and getting access to the DiMera funds, he would choose money in a heartbeat.

One does have to give him credit for trying to soothe Abigail, though. That is much more than anyone ever expected from the Salem resident. Remember, he was known as a villain for many years. Upon his return to Days Of Our Lives, fans wondered what evil deeds would come from the man. He is still bad, but is softening up a bit. In an interview in Soap Opera Digest several months ago, Thaao Penghlis revealed that Stefano’s death taught him how important family is. The only family he has left are Chad and Abigail, known to fans as “Chabby.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Chad DiMera will find out that Abigail is alive this week. Deciding to leave Salem for good, she will sneak into the mansion to say goodbye to baby Thomas. It is then that Chad walks in and sees his dead wife in front of his eyes. After the initial shock wears off, Chad and Abigail will talk. She will have to explain why she left, the reason for playing dead, where she has been, and why she was sneaking around. The spoilers section of the website teases that Chad’s reaction is her worst fear. Will he be angry once she reveals the truth? Is she afraid of him wanting to resume their marriage when it is clear he has feelings for Gabi Hernandez?

Speaking of Gabi, it doesn’t appear that she will find out about Abigail this week on Days Of Our Lives. Spoilers from Soap Central state that Gabi Hernandez will break up with JJ Devereaux (Casey Moss) this week. Once Chad knows about Abigail, will others discover the truth? Or will Chad keep Abby’s secret and not tell Gabi? With JJ already keeping it hidden, which will cause the couple to split, Gabi will feel like Chad is keeping something, too.

Until Gabi finds out that Abigail is alive, she probably won’t feel guilty about anything. However, she did kiss Chad on Monday’s episode while still involved with JJ. Even though she thinks he is keeping something from her, JJ’s secret is about Abigail, not another affair. As for Chad, he might feel guilty, but might not have any idea that he was seen kissing Gabi. At least, until Andre tells him and fans know he will hold on to that information until he needs it.
