Paris Jackson Seen Giving Macaulay Culkin A Pedicure; Has The ‘King of Pop’s’ Daughter Been Spending Too Much Time With Him?

As the daughter of the “King of Pop,” Paris Jackson has no doubt been exposed to some rather strange influences during the course of her relatively short lifetime, not the least of which, ironically, her own godfather Macaulay Culkin.

The 18-year-old Jackson, it seems, has grown very close to the 36-year-old Home Alone star, generating headlines seemingly each time they venture out into the public eye.

Sure, rumors of issues with drugs (Macaulay) and alcohol (Paris) may just have made for some strange bedfellows.

“The two have such deep mental issues,” one “insider” friend of Paris’ told Radar Online not too long ago. “[Macaulay Culkin] has had his fair share of trouble with drugs, while [Paris is] still dealing with booze addiction. It’s one step away from disaster!”

Still, to see their smiling faces on one of Paris’ famed Instagram posts, disaster would seem to be the last word that would come to mind.

Many feel that Paris is legitimately happy to spend time with Culkin, a man who had once been very close with her father and is relatively not that far off in terms of age. In fact, at least one source believes that their shared experience of losing Michael Jackson – paired with some of their past common dependency issues and Paris’ own fear of becoming an orphan – have driven the two of them much closer than anyone could have imagined.

At just 11 years of age, Paris publicly wept at the “King of Pop’s” funeral – per TV Guide – when she remarked, “I just want to say ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you can ever imagine, and I just wanted to say I love him so much.”

Many, including some who claim to be among those closest to Paris, claim that M.J.’s daughter’s scars from her father’s loss have not healed with time. It is, after all, well known among those close to the Jackson family that Paris was deeply and profoundly upset by the unexpected death of her father, who was 50, back in 2009.

Paris’ fear of losing her mother, 58-year-old nurse Debbie Rowe, sadly, also did little to help quell those fears.

“Having her mom so sick,” added the anonymous source to Radar, has only “activated [Paris Jackson’s] abandonment worries.”

Those fears have seemingly driven Michael Jackson’s only daughter directly into the arms of a man who she likely considers just like family. And that budding relationship, in the face of all that both Paris and Macaulay have lost, seems to only be growing stronger with time.

The close friendship between Jackson and Culkin is not, of course, without its detractors. In fact, as has recently been documented by the Inquisitr, some even feel that Macaulay is somewhat of a bad influence on Paris.

Now that Macaulay seems to have kicked some of his drug habits in recent months, many are hoping that he will be a much more upbeat, positive influence over Paris and her siblings than some have felt that he has been in recent months.

In other words, Paris Jackson wants and needs to surround herself with as much family as possible.

Hence, Paris Jackson’s day out at the salon with her new bestie Macaulay.

Yesterday, Jackson posted an image of herself giving her godfather a pedicure while visiting New York City for the holidays. All the while, Culkin just looks down in a half-smile as if disinterested.

Of course, Macaulay Culkin – who is godfather to all three of Michael Jackson’s children – has been an extremely close confidante of the entire family over the years. The former child star, perhaps, can relate to Jackson’s kids being thrust into the limelight because of their celebrity. Or perhaps he sees a lot of similarities between himself and the often misunderstood “King of Pop.”

More than likely, however, Macaulay Culkin just feels like he’s helping continue the legacy of Jackson and also paying tribute to Jackson by being there for M.J.’s children.

And the Paris/Macaulay meetup in New York seemed like just one small highlight on Paris’ trip there, as she also posted Instagram pictures of herself buying food at one of the city’s famed food trucks, as well as standing on the street surrounded by what she called “brown slush.” You know, “snow.”

Paris also posted a picture on her social media in October when she hung out with Macaulay. In this picture, Jackson’s daughter proudly showed off a drawing that Culkin had done of her.

“Throwback to when the best godfather ever drew me,” noted Jackson at the time.

Perhaps Paris Jackson is drawn to her mysterious godfather because he is every bit as mysterious as the “Man In the Mirror.”
