Lauren Jauregui Allegedly Says Fifth Harmony Is Treated Like ‘Slaves’ [Video]
It’s been a dramatic month for Fifth Harmony and especially for bandmember Lauren Jauregui. It has just been announced that Camila Cabello will be leaving Fifth Harmony. Now, footage has leaked that shows Lauren speaking out about the treatment of their girl group.
Leaked audio of Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui allegedly speaking out about the labor of the girl group has surfaced online. This comes after Camila Cabello nearly broke the internet when it was announced via the group’s management that she was leaving the band indefinitely.
“To f*** us over to make us literally slaves literally slaves Ally,” Jauregui is allegedly heard saying, “We’re doing f***ing labor every day and we see nothing.”
The woman (who has been identified as Lauren by fans of Fifth Harmony), can be heard talking in the video. It’s also unclear when the video was taken, and who recorded it behind their backs. The audio first surfaced on Twitter, reports JustJared.com. It didn’t take long for the audio to go viral.

It looks like Fifth Harmony has been faced with their share of drama lately. The girls just performed in Miami before Camila Cabello abruptly left the group. Lauren Jauregui even posted a group photo of them all before Camila split. The photo shows the girls wearing matching Florida Panthers hockey jerseys and looking out into the crowd.
Fifth Harmony performed at the Y100’s Jingle Ball 2016 at the BB&T Center, reports Hollywood Life. Fans had no clue that it would be the last time that they would see Cabello with her girl group. After Jauregui had posted the photo, the group broke the news and shocked the internet.
“After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well,” the statement, shared at midnight on Monday, Dec. 19, reads. “You Harmonizers have been there with us since the beginning, you’ve supported us, you’ve rejoiced and cried with us, you’ve grown with us, and with your love and support, we will continue on.”
The group also reassured their fans that despite Camila’s absence, they will continue as a girl group. Now that Camila has left the group, the remaining members include Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, and Dinah Jane. Does that mean that Fifth Harmony will find a replacement or will they now call themselves Fourth Harmony?
This also comes after Lauren was faced with some legal trouble last week when she was busted at Dulles airport for marijuana possession. The singer was going through airport security when TSA found a bag of marijuana in her carry-on luggage, reports TMZ. However, the media outlet claimed that Lauren was arrested and later detained, however, Lauren’s attorney released a statement stating that she was only “given a citation for the possession of marijuana and was released on her own recognizance.”
“This will not interfere with any future scheduled performances or activities,” she further stated.
The singer also apologized to Harmonizers in Brazil for missing out on the Fifth Harmony concert. She took to Instagram to post her message in Portuguese, promising that she would make it up to them.
“My dear Brazilian harmonizers, I’m sorry I couldn’t see you all. I didn’t get on the plane on time and because of this I had to go to Atlanta,” the message reads in English, as translated by E! News. “I promise you I’m going to do everything for you because I love each of you with all my heart. I’m sorry.”
