‘RHOA’ Season 9 Episode 7 Recap: Sheree Whitfield’s 19-Year-Old Son Kairo Models On ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ [Spoilers]

The drama continued on the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9, Episode 7 on Sunday. As reported by the Inquisitr, plenty of the drama in the new episode of RHOA focused on the demise of the friendship of Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks. The duo met to sit down and eat and talk out their differences, however, the meeting didn’t quite go as smoothly as planned. Kandi was fed up with Phaedra and her fakery — as Burruss sees it — and the manner in which Kandi thinks Parks tries to keep up appearances for the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Phaedra has portrayed herself as the woeful estranged wife of Apollo Nida, waiting for years to date anyone ever since Nida went to prison in 2014. Kandi, however, has claimed that Phaedra isn’t the innocent housewife she claims to be and couldn’t wait for Apollo to get locked up so that she could move on to a new marriage.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, other storylines played out in the most recent episode of RHOA, besides the demise of Kandi’s friendship with Phaedra. One of those storylines was Porsha Williams and her new potential future baby’s father, Todd Stewart. It’s the second go-round with Todd — a man that Porsha had previously dated when Porsha was around 24 years of age. Porsha admitted that she may have been too young to take the relationship seriously back then, but now that Porsha is considering becoming a mother, she is looking at Todd as a serious potential mate.

Kenya Moore and her former trainer-boyfriend Matt Jordan were still together during Sunday’s episode of RHOA. Kenya’s dad sat down with Kenya and Matt to try and give life advice, even after her father witnessed the broken glass garage door that Matt caused at Kenya’s home. The results of the rage displayed and caught on security footage didn’t go over well with Kenya’s dad, but yet and still, the older man advised the younger Matt not to give up on love if it really is the real thing with Kenya. According to Radar Online, Matt claimed the violence was fake. However, according to TMZ, Matt has a history of violence.

The levity in the latest episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta seemed to come when Sheree Whitfield and her 19-year-old son Kairo met with Cynthia Bailey for modeling advice. Kairo showed off his six-pack abs to Cynthia, and Sheree wanted Bailey to calm down when Cynthia was admiring Kairo’s beauty. Whitfield was ready for Kairo to walk the runway at New York Fashion Week, but Cynthia advised Sheree to take it a bit slower with Kairo, and to consider NYFW the pinnacle of their modeling goals for him. First, Bailey advised that Kairo take modeling classes to learn how to walk and to get past any shyness. Bailey said that Kairo’s height could work against him for some reason, but Sheree told Kairo he could do anything he put his mind to, with the “momager” keeping that encouragement going for her son.

Meanwhile, beyond helping Sheree and Kairo with their first free meeting about modeling, Cynthia was over the moon to learn that her offer on a new home in Sandy Springs had been accepted. The $940,000 for the lakeside home was something discussed on previous episodes of the RHOA, wherein a tour of the home displayed the house’s outside shower and many bedrooms. Only a 25-minute jaunt to the Bailey Agency and about 10 miles from Sheree and Kenya — but 13 miles away from Phaedra’s new home, as noted by Bravo — expect to see Bailey’s new home on future episodes of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
