Tarek And Christina El Moussa Divorce: Did ‘Flip Or Flop’ Star Date His Nanny?

Tarek and Christina El Moussa’s divorce has reportedly taken a dramatic turn with news of a possible relationship between the Flip or Flop star and his kids’ former nanny.

According to a new report, Tarek reportedly dated 23-year-old Alyssa Logan, whom he had hired to take care of 6-year-old Taylor Reese and 1-year-old Brayden James.

“Yes, he dated a nanny,” a source revealed to People magazine on December 17. “To be clear this was someone he hired to help when he had the kids after the separation. This was not the nanny they’ve had for years.”

“Christina feels awful that people think it’s her nanny,” added the source.

While Tarek reported engaged in a brief romance with Logan, their time together didn’t begin until after he and Christina had separated in May. Then, a while later, they called it quits.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa parted ways in May after seven years of marriage and two children. Since then, they have reportedly both dated other people. However, when it comes to Tarek’s alleged romance with his former nanny, his estranged wife was allegedly disturbed.

“Christina wasn’t surprised to find out Tarek and Alyssa were hooking up, but she was kind of disgusted because she’s so young and she was their employee,” a source told Hollywood Life on December 17.

At the end of last week, TMZ was first to identify Logan and revealed that the nanny and her former employer had attended a Florida Georgia Line concert with one another in October. Later that month, as the outlet confirmed, the rumored couple ended their relationship. TMZ also claimed their reported romance had begun in September.

“Tarek and Alyssa weren’t together for long, it only lasted a couple of months—it was a classic rebound romance and burned very bright, very quick before just fizzling out,” the insider added. “Tarek swears to Christina though that nothing happened while they were still together, and she does believe him.”

Tarek and Christina El Moussa split in May but when it came to their online posts, they appeared to be together up until just a short time ago. In fact, on Instagram weeks ago, Tarek shared a screenshot which featured a song, “Amazed” by Lonestar, and tagged Christina in the caption. Then, days later, Tarek posted a throwback photo of himself and Christina in the hospital together.

“Rough couple of years… Today I went in for another cancer screening and it was all clear! I remember the day we took this photo,” he wrote in the caption of the photo.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa may be nearing a divorce, but when it comes to their HGTV house-flipping series, they reportedly have no intentions of leaving the show. In addition, they are reportedly planning to release a new book, Flip Your Life, in March.

“We plan to continue our professional life together by being professional, by doing our jobs well, by being prepared and by working hard,” Tarek and Christina El Moussa explained in a statement to People magazine last week.

As Tarek and Christina El Moussa remain dedicated to co-parenting and working together professionally, rumors continue to swirl in regard to what happened between them in May, which reportedly ended their relationship. Although there have been rumors of a possible suicide threat involving a gun, Tarek and Christina have claimed the story shared was simply a misunderstanding and revealed that Tarek had left their home with a gun only for protection from wild animals near their home.
