Is Mariah Carey engaged to her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka?

Rumors are circulating the web regarding the flashy ring Mariah wore out and about in Hollywood earlier this week, giving fans the impression that the singer replaced one engagement for the other.

While Mariah has yet to address these reports, Hollywood Life heavily insinuates that Bryan and Carey are definitely engaged, basing their story from the recent photos that surfaced of the “We Belong Together” hitmaker wearing the sparkly ring.

“This may be the fastest rebound of all time! Mariah Carey was photographed wearing a massive sparkler on her left ring finger while out on Dec. 15, leading fans to speculate if she’s already gotten engaged to her new man, Bryan Tanaka.”

The outlet continues by stressing that Bryan and Mariah Carey have become really close this year. They’ve known each other for over a decade, but it wasn’t until the mother of two ended her relationship with James that she ended up deciding to give her romance with Tanaka a shot.

Fans aren’t surprised by Mariah Carey’s decision to date Bryan, especially with the airing of the singer’s E! reality show, Mariah’s World, which shows just how affectionate the twosome are with one another — and that was before Carey had split with Packer.

Considering the supposed fact that Mariah has really fallen for her background dancer, Hollywood Life is assuring fans not to be surprised when Carey goes on to confirm the news that she’s engaged once again.

“The revelation of the new bling comes just weeks after Mariah was seen packing on the PDA with her backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka, and less than two months after it was revealed that she’d ended her engagement to James Packer after less than a year,” the source shared.

As previously revealed, while Mariah Carey has moved on and could already be engaged to her new man, the 46-year-old is still hoping to win the lawsuit she’s filed against her billionaire ex-fiancé, stressing that she’s entitled to $50 million, which she brands as an “inconvenience fee.”

Carey claims that Packer upgraded her entire lifestyle, having her move from New York to Los Angeles and living under extraordinary circumstances that she couldn’t upkeep with her own money. She has become accustomed to that life and believes she’s more than worthy of $50 million — enough money for Carey to move on from the broken relationship for good.

Whether or not James is willingly going to pay Mariah that high sum has yet to be determined, especially since it wasn’t Packer that wanted the engagement to be called off — it was Carey.

Following an incident between Mariah’s assistant and the Australian billionaire, the “Thirsty” songstress wasted no time in pulling the plug on the romance, having her team leave a statement that gave the impression something awful had transpired.

It was later stressed by Mariah Carey’s camp, according to TMZ, that the former American Idol judge was under the impression that James needed professional help to have his mental health checked, strongly insinuating that Packer had an aggressive manner to him.

Mariah is currently starring in her own reality show on the E! network, where her love for Bryan Tanaka has really overtaken the main premise of the program, which was to showcase Carey’s time on the road, after a 10-year hiatus from performing in Europe.

Mariah Carey has yet to address reports claiming that she is engaged to her backup dancer in the midst of preparing herself to fight for the $50 million inconvenience fee against James Packer.

Do you think Mariah stands a chance of getting that money?
