Kylie Jenner has her own app, mobile game, lip kits, and cosmetics line. Now, the reality star has her own exclusive online store and pop-up shop.

The girl is only 19 and she’s already becoming a serious businesswoman. Kylie Jenner was known as the little sister of model Kendall Jenner on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. But, Jenner has grown up and her star has risen. Kylie and Kendall collaborated on their clothing lines with Topshop, PacSun, and Nordstrom, but now she’s stepping out on her own.

Kylie has profited off her looks, sex appeal, and love of fashion and makeup. Earlier this month, she launched The Kylie Shop online and now her pop-up shop has opened its doors. The specialty shop is temporarily open and will include Kylie’s lip kits, merchandise, among other goodies.

According to Racked, there are a lot of rules at her store. For example, hoards of fans who were waiting in line in hopes to catch a glimpse of the popular Jenner teen and scoop up some of her merchandise weren’t allowed to sit. A sign that features a long list of rules reads, “You must stand at all times,” even though most fans have been waiting in line for well over 10 hours, reports Seventeen.

Only a wristband was required to get into the store, but you put the wristband on you couldn’t leave the line, even if you wanted to grab something to eat or go to a nearby public restroom. They bolded that line among others on the extensive list of rules.

Once shoppers were allowed to enter the Kylie Jenner pop-up shop, they were allowed to shop for 20 minutes and wait another 10 minutes to check out in line. There were no price tags on the merchandise or displays, so fans didn’t know how much they were spending until they got to the register. Most of the rules were posted to control the fans who have since taken to social media to exclaim that it was well worth the experience.

According to a report via The Independent, the fashion writer addressed the “indignity” of shopping at Kylie Jenner’s pop-up store, stating that you are “forced to submit on its terms.”

“They won’t tell you what you’re spending until you get to the register, so that you can pretend money isn’t an object for you, just like it isn’t for Kylie,” Zan Romanoff told Racked.

“And it’s all packaged as if this thing is supposed to be a treat for you, a very limited-edition gift that you’re to feel lucky and special for having been given access to.”

While Zan entered the pop-up shop with preconceived notions, she admits that even she was sucked into the Kylie Jenner experience.

“In the hours I’d stood there I’d started buying into the fantasy, unconsciously but surely: I’d felt proud of my access, assured of my importance,” she concluded.

The store’s grand opening has since come and gone, but the store remains open until Dec. 23. Kylie Jenner seems to have a strict policy when it comes to returns or exchanges. On the Kylie Cosmetics online store, it reads that they “do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds. Are sales are final.”

UK fashion blogger Salta and Chic penned a post that reads, “Why I’ll Never Order From Kylie Cosmetics Again.” She explained that she ordered one of Kylie’s Lip Kits only to receive an empty box. She also received no response from customer service who wouldn’t explain why they wouldn’t issue a refund in this case.

“I’m a big fan of the Kardashians/Jenners and I’ve always thought they were great businesswomen. You know what’s not great Kylie? Taking the money from your fans and customers and providing them with empty boxes, the wrong products and products that break and not even giving them as much as an apology or a decent response.”

Months later, she finally received the lip kit she ordered and paid for. However, she’s still not impressed with Kylie’s business. It seems like Kylie’s younger fans will be the only ones who will want to deal with this type of chaos and business ethics. The starlet has since been criticized by beauty bloggers and other cosmetic companies for the quality of her products and how she handles her business.
