WWE News: Broken Matt Hardy Challenges DX, The New Day, Wyatt Family To Total Nonstop Deletion, Bray Wyatt Answers

In just a couple of days, Broken Matt Hardy and Brother Nero will present Total Nonstop Deletion to the entire world from The Hardy Compound in North Carolina. It is going to be unlike anything anyone has ever seen in TNA or all of wrestling, and Hardy wants to make sure that only the top challengers show up. That is why he has sent out invitations for D-Generation X, The Wyatt Family, Edge and Christian, The New Day, and others to appear.

As previously reported by Inquisitr a couple of weeks ago, Broken Matt Hardy appeared on the Jumbotron at Ring of Honor’s Final Battle event. There, he issued the challenge to The Young Bucks and The Briscoes to show up at Total Nonstop Deletion. It is expected that the Bucks will be there and quite possible that the Briscoes will as well.

Now, as pointed out by WrestleZone, Broken Matt Hardy has issued challenges to some of the top tag teams in WWE.

Not only is he looking at facing off with some of the greatest tag teams of today, including the current Raw Tag Team Champions and SmackDown LIVE Tag Team Champions, but some from the past. It’s an interesting method of crossing brands and one that has brought a lot of attention.

The New Day

The Wyatt Family

D-Generation X: Triple H and Shawn Michaels

The Rock & Roll Express

Broken Matt Hardy went on to say that all four of those teams are invited to Total Nonstop Deletion, but “they must fight.” The Rock & Roll Express are expected to appear at the event, but it is unlikely that any of the WWE teams will show up for TNA’s event.

Right now, The New Day are one of the hottest things in all of wrestling as they became record-holders on this week’s Monday Night Raw. As recapped by the official website of WWE, The New Day won two big Triple Threat Title matches this week and retained their championship belts to surpass Demolition’s record as longest reigning tag team champions.

Even though none of the WWE teams are expected to show up, they certainly are paying attention.

Late on Monday night after Broken Matt Hardy challenged all those teams for the “Apolcalypto” match on Thursday, one current WWE champion responded. Bray Wyatt jumped on Twitter and decided to direct his attention right at one-half of the current TNA World Tag Team Champions.

By challenging The Wyatt Family, Hardy sent out a challenge to Bray, Randy Orton, and Luke Harper. As the SmackDown LIVE Tag Team Champions, they operate under “The Freebird Rule” just like The New Day in that any of the three members can represent the team in title matches.

After all these challenges to WWE teams, Wrestling Inc. points out the humor in WWE posting a video of Matt Hardy actually getting destroyed by Bill Goldberg back in 2004.

Broken Matt Hardy believes that everyone should ignore their contractual obligations for just one night and show up at The Hardy Compound for Total Nonstop Deletion. Obviously, TNA fully believes that the Hardys know what they are doing and have faith that Thursday night will be a complete success. The Wyatt Family, The New Day, Shawn Michaels and Triple H of DX, and Edge & Christian might not show up, but many others will, and at least we know that Bray Wyatt is listening.
