Lisa Rinna Dishes On Her Husband’s Thoughts On ‘RHOBH,’ Wants To Reconcile Her Friendship With Lisa Vanderpump?

Lisa Rinna’s husband, Harry Hamlin, wasn’t initially on board with her joining Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show on December 13, Williams asked Rinna about her decision to appear on the reality series after years of working as an actress in Hollywood. After pointing out that Lisa Rinna likely didn’t need the drama in her life, Rinna admitted that she took a risk in joining the show.

“I had gone to Harry and I said, ‘What do you think? They’ve come to me,’ and he goes, ‘I’ll divorce you if you do it,'” Lisa Rinna revealed to the show host.

At that point, Lisa Rinna decided against doing the show, but the following day, Hamlin had a change of heart and informed her that joining the show would likely benefit her as a businesswoman.

Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin have their own line on QVC and, as Rinna pointed out, Bravo TV is good real estate for their brand.

Lisa Rinna joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills following the exits of Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud, who were brought to the series for just one season. At the time, Rinna’s fellow soap star, Eileen Davidson, also joined the show.

As for how Hamlin has adjusted to his wife’s newfound stardom in the reality television realm, Lisa Rinna told Williams that Hamlin rarely appears on the show.

“Harry’s not really on the show, nor should he be… nor should he ever be. Because Harry Hamlin is Harry f**king Hamlin.”

Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin have been married for 19 years and share two children together, Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray.

Although Hamlin is not a series regular by any means, he does pop in from time to time and according to Lisa Rinna, he’s now cool with her being on the series. That said, filming the reality show isn’t always easy and at times, things can be extremely “real” and extremely “personal.”

As Lisa Rinna continues to film the series, she and Hamlin have continued to be close with her co-stars and her co-stars’ husbands. In fact, Lisa Rinna revealed that she and Hamlin were friends with their co-stars before she joined the show and noted that they have continued on with their friendships despite the frequent spats on the series.

Lisa Rinna went on to address her strained relationship with Lisa Vanderpump, which fans saw come to an end at the end of the sixth season of the show.

“I’ve known [Lisa Vanderpump] for 27 years… You go through stuff in a relationship,” Lisa Rinna explained. “You just do and if you are on a TV show together, it’s complicated. As I say on the show tonight, which you’re going to see, I say say to her, ‘I like you more than I don’t like you.'”

According to Lisa Rinna, she’s moved on from her drama with Vanderpump and hopes they can move forward with their friendship and get things back to the way they were years ago.

“I have moved on… I lost my dad in January and it changes everything,” Lisa Rinna said. “When you lose a parent, everything gets put into perspective. Life is to short… I can’t even deal with that with Vanderpump anymore.”

“That’s where I’m coming from. I move on,” Lisa Rinna continued to Wendy Williams.

To see more of Lisa Rinna and her co-stars, including Lisa Vanderpump, tune into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 airing on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m.
