‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Morgan Return To Port Charles?
General Hospital spoilers are in, and it looks like there’s yet another character who might return to Port Charles. According to Blasting News, actor Bryan Craig, who played Morgan, might return to the show. Last we heard about Morgan, he had died after he was instantly killed in a car bombing. Prior to that, he was struggling with mental illness. It was revealed that he suffering from bipolar disorder, and right before his death, he had finally been able to get on the right medication and seemed to be more stable than ever.
Then, it was announced that actor Bryan Craig was leaving the show. At the time, no one was sure how they would write Morgan Corinthos out of the show or if he would be recast. It was upsetting for fans, because Craig had portrayed the “aged up” version of Morgan for three years, and he was considered a fan favorite.
When General Hospital spoilers revealed that Bryan Craig was leaving the soap after three years, the actor took to Instagram to write an official statement.
“It’s been an amazing journey, but I feel like the time is right for me to say goodbye to GENERAL HOSPITAL and Morgan Corinthos. This was not an easy decision and I am extremely grateful to ABC, [Executive Producer] Frank Valentini and the entire GH cast and crew for the opportunity and their unyielding support. To the wonderful fans who have embraced and loved Morgan as one of their own, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Now, the spoilers suggest that Bryan Craig might be heading back to Port Charles as Morgan. This begs the question of whether or Morgan will be coming back from the dead — or if he was dead to begin with. While a car bombing seems pretty final, as we know, General Hospital has brought people back from the dead before. The biggest hint that Morgan may return to Port Charles is a tweet that the actor left up for all his fans to see.
Last week, Craig tweeted, “People need to calm haha. I’ll come through again and pick up right where I left off.”
As far as General Hospital spoilers go, this tweet gives fans a lot to chew on, but we don’t know when Morgan will be back, if it will just be for a minor arc, or if it will involve something major. The best guess is that it will be a major storyline since he’s a Corinthos.
As far as General Hospital spoilers go, this isn’t the only surprise return that has been teased via Twitter. Actress Vanessa Marcil, who has been on and off the show numerous times, hinted that Brenda might return to General Hospital. This was huge news given the history that Brenda and Sonny have together as a couple. As longtime fans know, Sonny and Brenda have an on-and-off relationship that has lasted decades throughout the soap series.
While on Twitter, Marcil teased actor Maurice Benard (Sonny) while hinting at her arrival in Port Charles.
The two went back and forth, playfully ragging on each other, when finally Marcil tweeted, “Poor guy… So in love with Me. I mean Brenda.”
When the Inquisitr reported on the General Hospital spoilers, it was mentioned that this would be the perfect opportunity for Brenda to return, because Sonny is in extreme turmoil over his crumbling relationship with Carly. Viewers know that Carly was being pulled towards old flame Jax again, which caused an even wider gap between her and Sonny.
That said, fans seem very divisive on Vanessa Marcil returning to General Hospital. Some were over the moon about the potential storyline, while others weren’t thrilled and think the storyline needs to die.
As for Morgan’s possible return to General Hospital, fans will just have to sit tight on this one.
