Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani: Inside Their Secret Family Getaway

As rumors spread throughout the internet that a battle between Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s ex, Miranda Lambert, is brewing, Gwen and Blake have slipped away for some much-needed rest and family time. Fortunately for fans, the secret vacation plans made by Shelton and Stefani have leaked onto the web, and the pair have been spotted making the most of their holiday time with Gwen’s three sons, 10-year-old Kingston, 8-year-old Zuma, and 2-year-old Apollo. The getaway, which is sure to include some romance for Stefani and Shelton, comes only a short time after Blake publicly gushed over the love of his life.

Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Skip Out For A Holiday

As People stated, Gwen Stefani planned a nice vacation for herself, Blake, and her sons, all of whom she shares with ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale. The family set out to spend their time at a Lake Arrowhead resort, just two hours outside of bustling Los Angeles. Sources close to Stefani indicate that the one-time No Doubt lead singer has made Lake Arrowhead her go-to vacation spot for many years now.

The source said that Blake and Gwen had a great time with the three boys during their weekend vacation. Saturday was spent leisurely strolling about the area’s downtown streets, stopping by shops and restaurants throughout the day.

Everyone was casually dressed in jeans, baseball caps, and jackets. While Gwen wore a puffed out gold coat, Blake dressed down in a camo printed coat.

“Gwen and Blake looked very happy. As always around Blake, Gwen was all smiles,” the source told People. “They had dinner at the resort and seemed to enjoy a quiet night with Gwen’s boys. They all looked like they had a fun weekend.”

Previously, Ms. Stefani has said that she feels very fortunate to have found love with Shelton, adding that both she and Blake feel the acceptance from their fans of the new relationship. Not only does she feel Blake’s love, but Stefani adds that she feels the love from her fans.

Blake Shelton Gushes Over “Hot” Girlfriend, Gwen Stefani

In a previous interview shared by People, Blake Shelton gushed over Gwen Stefani and describing his relationship with her as a life changing experience. Appearing as a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Blake told the talk show host that he welcomed any opportunity to talk about Gwen, encouraging Ellen to pry deeper into their relationship.

Shelton admitted to Ellen that he never expected the romance to thrive as well as it has, partly because, while Blake has made country music his life, Gwen has a rock star past that seemed incongruous with the country music lifestyle.

“It’s been just an eye opener to be with someone like her,” Shelton said. “Believe it or not, I mean, you think Gwen Stefani and No Doubt and she is literally maybe the most normal person that I’ve ever met in my life.”

Shelton continued to explain that being around someone as grounded as Stefani has helped him to put things in perspective and to realize what things are truly important to him. He adds that Gwen has a really good heart with a great capacity for love.

That’s not the only thing that has Blake Shelton gushing about the love of his life.

“She’s hot,” Shelton told DeGeneres. “Have you seen her? I mean look at that.”

“Oh, I didn’t notice,” DeGeneres joked. “I just realized! Now that I look at her, she is attractive! I didn’t know.”

Gwen and Blake have been together for about a year, since they each found themselves newly single, following a painful break-up. Stefani was publicly devastated by her split from Gavin Rossdale and it seemed she might be forever destroyed by the betrayal, until she found common ground with newly divorced Blake Shelton. Now, the couple seems as inseparable as though they have always been together.
