Prince Harry’s Girlfriend Meghan Markle Prepared To ‘Leave All’ For A Future With Him
Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle has been gracing headlines recently because of how the royal looks after her. In a rare occurrence, the Kensington Palace even released a statement asking an inordinate number of haters to stop making derogatory remarks about her.
Harry reportedly sought the permission of his family and media advisers to release the statement. The gesture is deemed a big deal because Harry did not do the same for his former girlfriends Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy whose private lives were also intruded. As per the statement, what Meghan is experiencing is far worse than the previous cases.
The Suits actress appears to appreciate what her beau is doing for her because according to People, Meghan is prepared to make sacrifices to make her relationship with Harry work. The publication added that the past few months have been an “absolute fairytale” for Meghan.
“If she had to leave all that she’s doing in order for the relationship to work, she would without hesitation. It’s a very serious relationship and she wants a future with Harry.”
Even if the report suggests that Meghan is ready to turn her back on her filming career, Suits creator Aaron Korsh said that no one from the show’s lead characters is exiting anytime soon. When news of Meghan and Harry’s relationship broke out, several reports had surfaced claiming that the brunette beauty wants to leave the show to avoid further scrutiny from the media.
Despite his dismissal of such reports, Aaron still said that “you never know what the future will hold.” He cited Jessica Pearson as an example of an unanticipated departure because in Suits Season 6, Jessica followed her heart, stepped down from her corporate lawyer position, and went to Chicago with her lover.
Meghan and Harry are doing their best to make their long distance romance flourish. Following his two-week Caribbean royal tour, Harry opted to stop by Toronto before heading home to London. There he spent two days with Meghan who’s been filming the legal drama there.
Although Harry shouldered the cost of his flights, it didn’t stop some people from raising their brows because the security officers positioned around Meghan’s home that weekend were believed to be paid for by Canadian taxpayers.
Royal family members are expected not to combine their professional engagements with pleasure trips after a protocol was drawn in 2004. That year, Harry’s uncle, Prince Andrew, was investigated for his excessive travels. As reported by the Daily Mail, The Royal Household gave clear instructions to the National Audit Office.
“Members of the Royal Family are entitled to grant-in-aid for official travel, as are their staff and, where capacity permits, other officials. They meet their own costs, however, for private travel. In order to avoid confusion, combining private and public engagements in the same trip is actively discouraged.”
The Independent also reported that Harry wants to hire a security team for Meghan – something that he would pay for personally.
“There have been initial discussions about this matter. HRH has made it clear that he believes Ms. Markle’s personal safety is paramount and that the behavior of some elements of the media and press has been grossly unacceptable.”
The two are careful not to be photographed together. Even their friends allegedly know little about their relationship for Harry only confides to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Nonetheless, the signs cannot be simply dismissed including Meghan’s necklace bearing the sublte letters M and H. Furthermore, she was previously spotted walking into the Kensington Palace where she reportedly spent the night.
The two met in May this year in Toronto through a mutual friend.
