Pippa Middleton And James Matthews Show Off Engaged State Before Releasing Wedding News While Sister Kate Middleton Dons Important Tiara
Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ wedding date is slowly approaching and the couple is doing their best to show off their happily engaged state. With the holidays just around the corner, the 33-year-old British socialite has appeared with her future husband looking quite cozy.
Plus, it looks like James Matthews is making serious efforts to make her family part of his by spending time with his mother-in-law.
“Carole Middleton and James Matthews looked delighted to be in each other’s company as they stepped out for a carol concert in London,” reports Daily Mail.
“Pippa, Carole and James were spotted leaving The Henry van Straubenzee Carol Concert at St Luke’s Church in Sydney Street on Thursday – just yards from the couple’s home. While hedge fund manager James looked smart in a classic black suit and blue tie, his intended wrapped up warm in a blue tweed coat from Matthew Williamson with a zig-zag trim.”
While her younger sister is in the mood of settling down and leading a family-oriented life with James and her mother, Kate Middleton has been bringing out the fanciest pieces of her wardrobe in time for the holidays.
She wowed the crowd by wearing Princess Diana’s favorite tiara in a function recently, showing that she feels at home in the midst of her her husband, Prince William’s royal relatives.
“This is the second time that Kate has worn the Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara, which was given to Diana as a wedding present from the Queen in 1981,” reports Vanity Fair.
“Kate paired it with a red Jenny Packham dress, and a pair of diamond earrings. This event—for an annual event at Buckingham Palace honoring Britain’s diplomatic community—marks only the fifth time since she married William that she has worn a tiara.”

While they are sisters, Pippa and Kate Middleton have lives that are completely different from each other. After the royal wedding, Kate is now Duchess of Cambridge and is now a mother of two beautiful royal babies. Pippa has taken a more traditional route as a British socialite, using her athletic interests in her fundraising work for charity.
Having a sister, who has married into the royal family, means that the 33-year-old Middleton has gravitated away from public eye. As the details of her impending wedding get more and more revealed, it’s clear that she and James Matthews want the affair to be quiet.
“Pippa and James will tie the knot on May 20th, 2017 at her local village church in Berkshire — the St Mark’s Church in Englefield,” reports AOL.
“[…] Afterwards, friends and family at the ceremony will travel to her parents Carole and Michael Middleton’s home in Bucklebury for the reception. The £1.5 million home’s garden will be decorated specifically for the party, but guests will spill out onto the entirety of the home’s grounds.”
All the members of Britain’s high society will be vying for an invitation to this exclusive event.
Meanwhile, Pippa and James are enjoying the fact that they are newly engaged, taking walks with their dogs to show that they are ready for the next step in their relationship.
“It’s three months since their engagement, but the celebratory glow still hasn’t worn off for Pippa Middleton and her fiance James,” reports Daily Mail.
“The couple looked loved up as they shared a joke while strolling along arm-in-arm with their dogs […] Accompanying the pair on the walk were Pippa’s cocker spaniel Rafa and James’s black labrador. It was the first time the couple have been pictured together since their engagement was revealed in August.”
