Taylor Swift And Tom Hiddleston Aren’t Getting Back Together [Debunked]

Taylor Swift has not reconciled her romance with actor Tom Hiddleston, despite what a recent report has claimed.

Following a September split between the former couple, a recent report suggested the “Wildest Dreams” singer and her actor boyfriend had gotten back together, but shortly thereafter, Gossip Cop confirmed the report as false.

On December 5, Gossip Cop revealed details from a recent report, which suggested Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston had remained in contact with one another after their break up and were planning to celebrate New Year’s Eve together after their potential reconciliation.

In response to the report, Gossip Cop confirmed to readers that the report was completely “not true,” and further shot down an allegation against Taylor Swift, which claimed the singer had allegedly cheated on Tom Hiddleston during their months-long relationship with Lee Min Ho. As the outlet revealed, Taylor Swift has never even met Ho.

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston were seen together at the 2016 Met Gala in New York City in May, but due to her relationship with Calvin Harris, rumors of a romance didn’t begin swirling until the following month when the former pair was seen together on the beach near Swift’s Rhode Island home.

After splitting from Calvin Harris, Taylor Swift moved on with Hiddleston and for several weeks, they traveled the globe together. In addition to visiting Hiddleston’s mom in the U.K. and Swift’s parents in Nashville, Tennessee, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston were photographed in Italy and Australia, where Hiddleston was busy filming Thor: Ragnarok.

While Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston appeared to be enjoying a whirlwind romance for the first several weeks of their relationship, their romance was said to have hit a rocky patch in late August. At the time, an Us Weekly source claimed Swift and Tom Hiddleston had gotten into a major argument weeks prior after their busy schedules kept them apart.

“They weren’t spending as much time together,” the magazine’s source alleged. “There was so much going on so it was hard making their schedules work and they were upset they couldn’t see each other.”

Although Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston were reportedly at odds at that point, the actor allegedly flew out to her Rhode Island home on August 14 and remained there for two days as they reportedly patched up their relationship.

“Tom is busier than [Taylor Swift] right now, so it’s been hard,” a source close to Swift explained to the magazine. “They’ve had some schedule issues, but things are otherwise fine. They are making it work.”

While Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston reportedly got over their “major argument” in early August, they didn’t last much longer and by early September, sources had confirmed the end of their relationship to Us Weekly.

“[Taylor Swift] was the one to put the brakes on the relationship,” a source close to the couple told the magazine. “Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with. Taylor knew the backlash that comes with public displays of affection but Tom didn’t listen to her concerns when she brought them up.”

Following the split, the source claimed, Hiddleston was “embarrassed that the relationship fizzled out.”

“It was an intense start,” a Hiddleston insider added of the former couple’s romance. “No one can keep that kind of momentum going.”

“[Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston] get along great and will remain friends, but they just don’t see it working romantically right now.”

After her breakup from Hiddleston, Taylor Swift was linked to rapper Drake and rumored to be getting back together with Harris, but at this point, she appears to be single.
