‘Days Of Our Lives’: Abigail Devereaux Discovered, Uses Blackmail To Keep Her Secret On ‘DOOL’ [Spoilers]
Days Of Our Lives fans are wondering when everyone in Salem will find out Abigail Devereaux (Marci Miller) is alive. She has been back in town for a few weeks now, and besides Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) and Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), only Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) and JJ Devereaux (Casey Moss) know the truth. The storyline is dragging on a bit and viewers are becoming impatient. Well, it turns out that soon, someone else will find out that Abigail is alive. However, the character will use blackmail to keep her secret.

Days Of Our Lives fans were disappointed when Kate Mansi left the soap opera. After having no actress to play the part, Marci Miller was finally chosen to play the role of Abigail Devereaux. To explain her absence, DOOL writers had Abby disappear. Now, she is back in Salem, but the storyline isn’t really going anywhere and it’s already been a few weeks.
Right now, Abigail is hiding in Jennifer’s attic. JJ found out about his sister and was urged to keep quiet. However, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) sensed something is going on. Also, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) knows JJ is hiding something, but isn’t sure what it is. When will Abby finally come out of hiding so this story can move forward?
According to She Knows, someone else will find out that Abigail is alive on Days Of Our Lives. It will happen on December 8. It doesn’t reveal who sees Abby, but the very next day, Marci Miller’s character will resort to blackmail in order to keep her secret. Since she has been out of Salem so long, she can’t know too many secrets about others. The only people she has really been spying on are Chad and Gabi. Is it possible that Abigail will blackmail Gabi to keep quiet? Will she threaten to tell JJ about her getting too close with Chad DiMera?
It sounds like Abigail hiding in Jennifer’s attic is going to continue for at least another week, maybe longer. Writers better get moving on this storyline before fans start losing interest. Suspense and mystery are great and is part of a soap opera, but there is such a thing as stalling a storyline for too long.
Eventually, Chad will find out Abigail is alive on Days Of Our Lives. Fans may not know when, but it will happen. When it does, how will Billy Flynn’s character react? As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Flynn revealed in an interview that Chad DiMera will feel betrayed by Abby. However, the actor also stated that Chad will follow his heart. The question is, will his heart lead him to choose Abigail or Gabi?
“It’s a different dynamic. It has all the same elements of Chad and Abigail, it’s just that they’ve grown, she’s left, she betrayed him in a lot of [ways]… it’s going to be hard for Chad because he follows his heart. You can’t turn that off.”
Billy Flynn also spoke about how difficult Chad and Abigail’s relationship was.
“His entire relationship with Abigail… she’s the love of his life, but it’s never been easy, it’s always been a struggle, always been a fight. I think there is a sense of… it sounds terrible, but it’s a weight off his shoulders. He misses her dearly, but for the first time… for as hard as life is, it’s a little bit easier. He’s not running into burning buildings anymore, getting his a** kicked by Ben.”
