Jennifer Aniston Discusses Husband Justin Theroux And His Thanksgiving Surprise After Brad Pitt Rumors

Jennifer Aniston may have been targeted with allegations of being tied to her ex-husband Brad Pitt’s divorce months ago, but throughout the fabricated drama, the actress has reportedly been focused on her current husband, Justin Theroux.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, Jennifer Aniston opened up about how her husband, whom she wed in August of last year, surprised her on Thanksgiving.

Speaking to the show’s host, Ellen DeGeneres, who has been a close friend of Jennifer Aniston’s for years and attended her top secret wedding to Theroux, the 47-year-old actress revealed that while she expected her husband would be in Germany during the holidays, he ultimately surprised her with his presence.

“Everyone came to the house and no one really understood that Justin was not going to be there and you just saw everybody’s face just start to fall,” Jennifer Aniston recalled, according to a report by the Daily Mail on November 30. “The whole room got really depressed.”

“I was like, ‘Guys: I’m here! I understand Justin’s not here, but it’s going to be okay!'” Jennifer Aniston continued.

“I gave the toast at the head of the dinner table, which is usually me and Justin. And I gave, I guess, a very unimpressive toast where people were like, ‘Meh, great. Let’s eat.’ Then salads came out and everyone was just very somber and next thing you know, turkey walks in and there was another turkey holding that turkey… And that was my hubby! He came in with the turkey.”

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux began dating in 2011, and in August of 2015, surrounded by their close friends and family members, they said their “I dos.” At the time of their wedding, TMZ claimed Jennifer Aniston had allegedly told the majority of her guests, who included Howard Stern, Chelsea Handler, Sia, Lisa Kudrow, Emily Blunt, Courteney Cox, and John Krasinski, that the event was not a wedding but rather a surprise 44th birthday party for Theroux.

While most celebrity weddings are exposed prior to their big day, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux managed to keep their nuptials private until a pastor and a cake were seen entering their Bel Air home. That said, photos from the event were few and far between, and even now, no photos of Jennifer Aniston’s wedding dress have been shared.

Also during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jennifer Aniston addressed her open post for the Huffington Post, which she shared earlier this year after being targeted with pregnancy rumors.

“I kind of hit a wall. I was pretty raw at the time,” Jennifer Aniston explained to the host, via Gossip Cop, noting her mother’s recent passing. “I’ve had to sort of live with for the last 10-15 years, a picture of me with a bump and a circle around my stomach with an arrow pointing to it in this disgustingly objectifying kind of way, and I was just fed up with it.”

As for the rumors regarding Jennifer Aniston’s alleged ties to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce, a Radar Online report weeks ago claimed Aniston and her husband were allegedly at war over the couple’s split.

“Could Brad Pitt’s divorce leave his ex, Jennifer Aniston, single too?” the outlet asked, adding that “her new husband, Justin Theroux, is getting sick of Aniston’s ongoing fascination with her ex.”

In response to the report, which claimed Jennifer Aniston had reportedly made a habit of exploiting her past relationship with Pitt, Gossip Cop shut down the false report entirely and confirmed that Jennifer Aniston was in no way impacted by the recent split of her ex-husband and his former partner.
