Trump Supporter’s Rant On Delta Airlines’ Flight Results In Apology From Airline
A Donald Trump supporter reportedly went on a rant during a Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta to Pennsylvania on Tuesday last week.
The Trump supporter was captured on video throwing shade at Hillary Clinton’s supporters. The video evidence of the incident reveals that the man stood on the isle and started yelling and insulting fellow passengers that supported Clinton. The man also used vulgar language and was considered a disturbance to the rest of the passengers. It seems his agenda was to voice out his support for Donald Trump while sticking it to those that supported Hillary Clinton in the latest presidential elections, in which Trump emerged the winner. Delta Airlines has issued an apology for the incident.

“Donald Trump, baby, we got some Hillary b***hes on here? Come on, baby. Trump!” the man shouted the man.
Delta Airlines released a statement issuing an apology for the incident on Tuesday. The airline claims that the passenger that went on a rant should have been evicted from the airplane. The airline stated that its responsibility is to make sure that all customers are comfortable and security remains one of the major priorities. The statement also added that it requires all the passengers should behave in a civil manner.
“The behavior we see in this video does not square with our training or culture and follow-up will continue so we can better ensure our employees will know they will be fully supported to make the right decisions when these issues arise,” the statement noted.
The Trump supporter continued on his rant, telling everyone on board that Donald Trump is their President whether they like it or not. The video was recorded by one of the other passengers that were on board the flight. The rest of the passengers remained calm during the rant. The man then sat on his seat after finishing his rant. The video was later posted on Facebook, and it went viral, receiving more than 2 million views. This is not the first politically incited rant that has taken place on an airline.
A few weeks ago, another incident occurred on a plane after a political argument erupted in a US Airline flight bound for Puerto Vallarta from San Francisco, shortly after the election. Luckily, the captain in charge of the flight managed to calm the passengers after expressing a heartfelt plea.
The person that posted the video reported that a male passenger clad in a camo cap and a plaid shirt uttered a racist comment to an African-American woman, who then started crying and panicking. Luckily, the captain responded by telling the passengers that everyone was entitled to their own political opinions. He urged the passengers to respect each other’s opinion and that they were all supposed to be having a good time.

The two airline incidents occurred due to people’s political opinions and differences. Luckily, neither of the two situations led to physical violence. Had the situation been different, it would have resulted into a nightmare for the involved airline. Delta still maintains that the man should have been removed from the flight for disrupting the flight. He was also abusive and thus causing tension and discomfort to the rest of the passengers. This alone was enough reason to have the ranting passenger evicted from the flight.
The statement from Delta Airlines also revealed the airline’s plan to train its employees on how to handle and make decisions over such issues. This means that captains will be able to make decisions whether to remove passengers when such incidents occur. Delta Airlines has formally apologized for not handling the matter in the correct way.
