Cara Delevingne's 2016 was just as tumultuous as anyone else's. It was the year she returned to fashion after taking some time away from modeling and declared her love for her girlfriend, St. Vincent, Cara then broke up with her lover and found independence in her life and career. Now, she is trying to end the year right by sending a message to women all over the world.
In a recent interview with Glamour Magazine, she revealed that women have to be there for each other; especially during the hard times.
"As women, we have to build each other up, not bring each other down," she said. "Ever since I started my career modeling, a lot has changed, but there's so much that we have to do. Hearing those incredible stories [at WOTY] of what people go through, we all need to be leaders for the future of young girls, it's so important. They are the future! I met so many amazing women, like Nadia Murad and Simone Biles, and heard so many sad stories, but it's also uplifting. It means there's hope."
She embodied this message last week when she spent time with Amber Heard, who is going through a messy divorce with her husband, Johnny Depp. There has been a rumor that Cara and Amber are dating, but it looks like they are there for each other as they go through some personal turmoil.
Plus, there is nothing like retail therapy!
"Amber Heard and gal pal Cara Delevingne recently enjoyed some outdoors retail therapy together," reports Daily Mail. "The 30-year-old actress and 24-year-old model kept it casual yet chic on Sunday while hitting a Los Angeles flea market. Amber wore a short-sleeved yellow peasant top along with faded cuffed blue jeans and thick black boots… Amber and Cara carried several shopping bags after picking up items and a bite to eat at the flea market."
Soon after the news of Suicide Squad actress' breakup with her girlfriend St. Vincent and Amber's pending split from Johnny Depp become public, they were seen hanging out together.
"[Cara and Amber] have been staying at a London hotel together, even though Cara has her own place," reports Glamour. "Though to be fair, who doesn't love a hotel bed and free swish shampoo and conditioner. The pesky source said, "They have been seen at the hotel loads and are always very giggly and thick as thieves, out until the early hours."
