Kailyn Lowry’s Butt Lift Changed Her: Why She’s Still Boycotting Her Own Mother

Kailyn Lowry decided to do something crazy this past January when she left her husband, Javi Marroquin. She traveled to Miami to have surgery, where she had a butt lift, liposuction and other procedures that completely changed her look. Her estranged husband, Javi Marroquin, has said that the plastic surgery completely changed her and it was the beginning of the end for their marriage. He was serving overseas in the Air Force at the time she went under the knife, so he was surprised that she went through with the surgery. But it sounds like she’s changed a lot more than Javi is saying, as she’s now open to having her mother in her life.

According to a new tweet, Kailyn Lowry opened up about her relationship with her mother and she revealed that she would consider talking to her again if she wasn’t drinking so much. Of course, Lowry doesn’t want to have a relationship with an alcoholic mother, especially since the two of them haven’t always seen eye-to-eye. One can imagine that she’s hurt over everything her mother has put her through, especially when it comes to her childhood.

“Have you ever heard ‘headlights’ by Eminem and Nate Russ?,” a Kailyn Lowry fan page asked Kailyn on Twitter, to which the Teen Mom star wrote back, “Weird I just listened to it for the first time in foreverrrrrrr yesterday. My mom said it’s me and her.”

“I just heard the song and thought about you and your mom. If you don’t mind me asking when’s the last time you spoke to her? Would you consider talking to her again if she found you and was REALLY straightened up?,” the fan wrote back to Lowry, who replied with, “Would talk to her if she was sober and consistent.”

It makes sense that Kailyn Lowry wouldn’t want to bring her mother around her two sons, especially if she was drunk. On Teen Mom, Lowry hasn’t really filmed any scenes with her mother recently, which could indicate that her son Lincoln doesn’t know who his grandmother is. But Isaac may remember who his grandmother is as he’s now 6-years-old, and he could have had a relationship with her when Kailyn saw her more often back when she was dating Jo Rivera.

But some people felt that Kailyn herself was being hypocritical, especially since she was spotted drinking this summer. How can Lowry be so vocal and judgmental of her own mother when she herself is choosing to drink when she’s hanging out with friends during the summer? At least that’s what one person questioned, even though Kailyn Lowry doesn’t drink on a daily basis.

“Kinda hypocritical of you considering YOU drink,” one person replied to Lowry’s tweet, adding in response to a person who pointed out that Kailyn doesn’t drink every day, “Doesn’t matter. Her mother is an addict and yet kail drinks. She needs to change that if she expects her mom.”

Another person guessed that Lowry’s mom would be open to a relationship if Kailyn stopped talking about her mother in public, including bashing her in various public settings.

“Maybe her mom would want to talk to her if she stopped bashing her publicly and admitted her own problems=cheater,” a person replied on Twitter, hinting that Kailyn Lowry needs to focus on her own issues rather than blame her mother.

The person brings up the dreaded cheating rumors that have plagued both Lowry and Javi Marroquin over the past couple of months.
