Lindsay Lohan Incites Drama With Ariana Grande On Social Media
Lindsay Lohan let out her inner Mean Girl when she visited Ariana Grande’s Instagram. The pint-size diva was just teasing the upcoming commercial for her latest fragrance called Sweet Like Candy. Lindsay decided to step in and give Ariana an opinion about her look.
The new ad shows Grande imagining herself running and owning an ice cream truck. You can check out the new commercial for yourself below.
The 23-year-old has also been busy rehearsing for her role in Hairspray Live!, which airs on NBC in early December. Grande took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes photos of herself and co-star Dove Cameron in the ’60s-inspired makeup on Saturday, Nov. 19.
While most of the comments on Grande’s Instagram page were from her adoring fans who loved her look, and were excited for the show, Lohan was not as impressed. She became a real-life mean girl, according to the Huffington Post, when she left the comment: “Too much makeup.” Grande’s fans were quick to defend the pop star, saying that it’s required to wear heavy makeup on the set of a TV show.
“Ur stupid. Ur supposed to wear a lot of makeup when ur doing a tv show. Duh. (SIC),” one commenter wrote.
Not only did Lohan write it once, but she wrote the same comment two more times underneath the posts for Grande’s upcoming show and perfume. And, according to Entertainment Tonight, some of Grande’s fans have taken to Lindsay Lohan’s Instagram page to let them know what they think of her photos.
This isn’t the only trouble that Lindsay has stirred up online. She has been actively commenting on other posts on Instagram. Lohan took to Ellen DeGeneres’ Instagram page to compliment Britney Spears on her new album, Glory, as pointed out by celebrity gossip blog Oh No They Didn’t.
Lohan has also gone back to her fiery red hair lately. And, it looks like Lohan is doing it for a reason. Although Disney’s live-action version of The Little Mermaid has not reportedly cast its Ariel yet, Lohan already wants in, according to Digital Spy. She took to Instagram on Wednesday, Nov. 16 to post a photo of Ariel and tagging the official studio, writing it’s “My dream role.” She also proved that she’s perfect for the role with this selfie.
Lohan has been through her share of scandals and run-ins with the laws. She’s definitely not a Disney-friendly name anymore. Some have commented that Lohan would make a better Ursula because of her smoky voice and confusing accent. The Little Mermaid isn’t happening anytime soon, as Disney already has its hands full with other projects such as Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson, set for release in early 2017. There’s also a sequel to The Jungle Book, along with Maleficent 2, Dumbo, and Tinker Bell.
Lohan may find herself in another battle with another former child star. She and Bella Thorne have been compared for their wild personas and high-profile relationships. Both, who are natural redheads, have also debuted their new darker shade of red, as reported via People Style.
“Smiling my way through this rainy weather and trying not to acknowledge that I have a cold,” the 30-year-old actress captioned her new hair color on Instagram.
Thorne took her fans behind-the-scenes on Snapchat while she got her hair dyed, so they could see the step-by-step process. As her hairstylist worked the coppery shade into her hair, her friend documented the entire experience. Once the process was complete, Thorne took to Snapchat to share a makeup-free selfie of her new look.
Lohan wouldn’t have to remark that Thorne is wearing “too much makeup.”
