Jinger Duggar Wedding: Highlights From The Anticipated TLC Special-Sweet Josie, Man Tears, And Lots Of Smooching Going On

The romantic wedding of Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo was shown in a special episode on Tuesday night on TLC. While fans may still be buzzing from the announcement that her younger sister, Joy, is in a new courtship, it was the nuptials that everyone was looking forward to. The ceremony was beautiful and Mr. and Mrs. Vuolo are now honeymooning out of the country.

Duggar fans were anxiously waiting for this event to air as a special episode of Counting On and they were not disappointed. As Hollywood Life pointed out, the enchanting couple said their vows in front of around 1,000 guests and of course, the highlight of the wedding was that they had their first kiss in front of everyone. In fact, they enjoyed it so much the first time around that Jeremy planted another huge kiss on his bride as they were walking down the aisle together as husband and wife.

There were other tidbits from the Jinger Duggar wedding that were seen on Tuesday night as well. The 19th child of Jim Bob and Michelle, little Josie, kind of stole the show a few times. She was the designated flower girl and she was so cute. At one point, the main nurse who took care of Josie when she was in the hospital after she was born prematurely showed up and presented her with the headdress that she was to wear for the wedding of her older sister. She wore it proudly as she was throwing flower petals down the aisle.

Josie’s expressions before that looked like she may have been torn about Jinger getting married, especially since she would be moving to Texas after the honeymoon. The 6-year-old has had three of her sisters move out in in the last three years. Considering how close the female siblings are, this may be just a little hard on Josie. Her facial expressions during the episode showed that she wears her heart on her sleeve.

Daddy Duggar was quite an emotional wreck when he first saw his daughter in her bridal gown. He was blubbering and couldn’t stop telling Jinger how stunning she looked. It didn’t help matters any when she gave him a handkerchief with a sweet message just for her dad.

It seems like the men cried more than the ladies in the wedding as Jeremy couldn’t stop the tears either as he watched his stunning bride prance down the aisle. He looked more than ready to marry her with his own dad, Charles Vuolo, officiating the wedding. Only he did the ceremony with most of his own words as he reflected how he has watched Jinger and Jeremy fall in love and realized they were just the right fit for each other. It brought on a more personal touch to the ceremony.

The wedding of Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo kind of went off without a hitch. There were a couple of notables that happened that the couple is probably laughing about now. When Jinger went to slide the groom’s ring on his finger, she had a bit of a hard time getting it on. You could eventually see her trying to force it on after a few seconds. In addition, the wedded couple had trouble getting the two candles off the stand to be able to light the unity candle in the middle. They eventually just grabbed the lighter. It wasn’t a big deal as something always seems to go wrong at some point during a wedding.

Jinger and Jeremy weren’t the only ones in the mood for a smooch. At the end of the ceremony, Derick Dillard ran up to his wife, Jill, to swoop her in for an after-wedding kiss. It looks like a Duggar wedding has gotten him in the mood for some romance as well.

The newly married couple is now on their honeymoon in Australia, as reported by People, and will be traveling to New Zealand after that. They will then be heading home to Texas to continue their wedded bliss and start a family soon.

There is still so much more that is happening in the Duggar family. Jessa and Ben’s second child will be born early next year, Jill and Derick will eventually be heading back to the mission field, and Joy is enjoying courting her new guy, Austin.
