Washington Redskins Vs. Green Bay Packers: Bold Predictions For NFL Week 11

The 2016 NFL season is already set to enter Week 11 action. One game that viewers are interested in watching, in particular, this week is the Washington Redskins vs. Green Bay Packers. Both teams are playoff contenders in the NFC, although the Packers have been struggling in a big way the past few weeks.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have lost their last three games,` and it appears that head coach Mike McCarthy is on the hot seat. Green Bay simply hasn’t looked like a team that can compete for a Super Bowl appearance. They are also now third in the NFC North behind both the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings.

Washington, on the other hand, is without question one of the most intriguing teams in the playoff race. They are sitting with a 5-3-1 record and seem to be a contender. There is a lot of work for them to do in order to be considered a Super Bowl contender, but they have the kind of talent needed to get to that point.

Needless to say, this game is going to hold playoff implications for both teams. If the Redskins pull out a win, it could be exactly what knocks Green Bay out of the playoff picture. That isn’t a guaranteed situation, but the Packers know that they can’t afford to struggle much longer.

All of that being said, what bold predictions can be made for the Redskins vs. Packers game this week?

Kirk Cousins Shreds the Green Bay Secondary

Defense has been one of the reasons that the Packers have struggled so much the past few weeks. That will not change this week as Kirk Cousins will shred the Green Bay secondary. He will throw for at least 300 yards and three touchdowns throughout the course of the game.

Aaron Rodgers Totals 350 Yards, Four Touchdowns

Even though the Packers have been losing, Aaron Rodgers has been playing at a very high level. He will continue his impressive individual play this week, totaling 350 yards and four touchdowns. Rodgers isn’t happy with the direction that Green Bay is headed and will do everything in his power to win this week.

Washington’s Defense Will Force Three Turnovers

Green Bay has turned the football over alarmingly often this season. Washington might not have one of the best defenses in the NFL, but they will force three turnovers this week. Aaron Rodgers will likely throw an interception or two, and the Packers have had fumble issues this season as well.

Davante Adams Racks Up 100 Yards, Two Touchdowns

One of the biggest surprises for the Packers over the past few weeks despite the struggles is wide receiver Davante Adams. He has been making an impact all season long, but Adams has been stepping his game up of late as well. Adams will continue his strong play this week against the Redskins with 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Washington Pulls Out a Close Win Over the Packers

Washington is without question playing better football at this point in the season. They will end up coming through with a close win over the Packers. Green Bay will drop their fourth straight game, and the panic meter will continue rising.

Expect to see these two teams battle down to the wire this week. Neither team is going to blow the other out, but the Redskins seem to have the better team on paper at this point. Green Bay could come out and shake off the rust that they have had the last few weeks, but that doesn’t seem terribly likely.
