‘Love And Hip Hop: New York’ Spoilers: Five Things We Can Expect This Season

The extended preview of the newest season of Love and Hip Hop: New York has just been released, so of course, Love and Hip Hop: New York spoilers are abounding all over the web. With this in mind, then, we’ve come up with this list of five things we can expect from this season of the so-called “OG flavor” of the Love and Hip Hop franchise.

Warning: This post contains spoilers. Please do not read this post if you do not wish to read Love and Hip Hop: New York spoilers.

1. Special Guests
According to Hip Hop Wired’s latest round of Love and Hip Hop: New York spoilers, fans of the series can expect a lot of special guests this season. Since hip hop was born in New York, it only makes sense that the New York version of the show would feature some of the best and brightest of the New York hip hop scene. To that end, Cam’ron — better known as “Killa Cam,” leader of The Diplomats, commonly known as Dipset — is already scheduled to be added to the cast, along with Felicia Pearson, better known as Snoop from The Wire.

2. Familial Drama
XXL Magazine’s latest round of Love and Hip Hop: New York spoilers suggests that there will be family drama, in addition to frenemy drama. In addition to Dipset first ladies Kimbella (girlfriend of Juelz Santana) and Juju (girlfriend of Cam’ron) being added to the cast — in some cases, for a second go-round — Cardi B’s sister Hennessy is also set to be added to the cast.

3. Shade. Lots and Lots of Shade.
Starcasm’s latest round of Love and Hip Hop: New York spoilers have given us a preview into a world of shade not seen since Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Sofi Green, another new addition to the cast, has already been snidely remarked about. Granted, the Brooklyn-by-way-of-D.C. native has already established herself as a host of sorts, thanks to a short-lived show titled The Week in Jams on MTV2. And while that’s no small feat, to make the extension from MTV2 host to music star is going to get you more than your fair share of shade.

4. Baby Mama Drama
There have been two additions to the Love and Hip Hop: New York cast that aren’t exactly making Yandy Smith-Harris happy: Mendeecees’ two baby mamas. While they have the babies, Yandy has his name 00 not that this means anything, given that he’s currently doing a Federal bid. But according to Mendeecees’ two baby mamas, Yandy has been lying about the “lovely life” that she lives as the wife of a felon, and they’re ready to bring receipts to show she’s lying. We’re not sure what purpose that would bring except to bring drama, but as the latest Love and Hip Hop: New York spoilers have shown, isn’t that what the show is all about?

5. Career Struggles
Although this is always an ancillary after-effect of the Love and Hip Hop saga, all of the people involved in this show are trying their best to either get a career of their own off the ground or to revitalize a now-sagging career. Whether it be a rapper, a model, or a stripper-turned-rapper-turned-model-turned-brand all her own (that would be Cardi B, who is absolutely hilarious), the cast of Love and Hip Hop: New York is nothing if not on the struggle.
