Jennifer Lopez To Perform Live At The Latin Grammy Awards 2016

Jennifer Lopez is set to perform in Las Vegas, but it will not be part of her “All I have” residency. She will be performing live at the Latin Grammy awards 2016, which will be held in Las Vegas.

Jennifer Lopez will be performing at the Latin Grammy awards, which will be in Las Vegas on November 17. People has confirmed that the Latin event will be held at the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas, which will kick off at 8 p.m. This will be the first time that the 47-year-old Latina superstar will be performing at the Latin Grammys. By some coincidental twist, Jennifer’s ex-husband Marc Anthony has also been named Person of the Year by the award academy.

“I am so excited and really looking forward to this new musical journey and to celebrate my Latin roots with Marc Anthony and the Sony/Magnus family,” pointed out Lopez in a statement.

The past couple of months have been quite busy for Jennifer Lopez. She is expected to resume her “All I have” residency in December and word has it that she is also working on a new album that will be all Spanish. JLO is also expected to be the executive producer for Bye Bye Birdie in which she will also star as Rosie Alvarez. This was revealed a month ago by NBC president Bob Greenblatt. JLO has also been acting in another NBC show called Shades of Blue, in which she is a detective trying to fight it out for her two children.

Various iconic members of the Latin community including Marc Anthony, Djavan Fonseca, Ricardo López Lalinde and Julio Reyes among numerous others have been nominated for awards. Iconic female artist Shakira has also been nominated for Record of the Year courtesy of the hit “La Bicicleta,” which also features Carlos Vives. Other artists competing for the same award include Andrea Bocelli with the hit “Me Faltarás,”and Enrique Iglesias with the single”Duele El Corazón.”

It is not yet clear whether Jennifer Lopez will be receiving an award, but she will be taking to the stage to perform. Other artists expected to perform at the event include Rachel Platten, J Balvin, Prince Royce, Laura Pausini and Diego Torres among others. Their performances are expected to make a colorful and exciting event.

Despite splitting with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, the two have remained friends and this has had a positive impact on their twins, Emme and Max. Performing at the Latin Grammy awards is a great deal for JLO. It represents her strong ties to the Latin community and represents the fact that she is identified as one of the most successful female stars from the Latin community. Speaking of her success, Jennifer Lopez has enjoyed a long career in the music industry and has even juggled it quite well with her acting career. She has earned herself a place among great and successful musicians such a Beyonce.

JLO’s career also seems to be on a continuous upward trend even as she nears the big “50.” Even at her age, she still manages to throw down and get the crowd on their toes during live performances. Jennifer Lopez somehow manages to maintain her youthful beauty and her voice maintains its glory, allowing her to have a long career. She has also gotten chances to collaborate with some of the most influential artists, such as Pitbull. She plans to continue the hype in her music career indefinitely.

The Latin Grammys are expected to be nothing short of amazing especially, with Jennifer Lopez and other artists performing and the event will be aired live on November 17.
