WWE Rumors: Fans Bash Kevin Nash For Allegedly Supporting Donald Trump, Nash Lashes Back
Politics is always going to be a touchy topic with some people. Kevin Nash went on a profanity-laden rant on Instagram in response to people bashing him about being a Donald Trump supporter, as reported by Wrestling Inc.
Very few things in this world can divide people like a presidential election. When Donald Trump was shockingly announced as the next president of the United States of America, there were global leaders that congratulated the billionaire businessman. There were also countries that expressed hesitancy and concern about the changing regime in one of the most powerful countries in the world.
There was also a great divide among the residents of the United States. Some are hopeful that Donald Trump can produce on many of those changes that he promised. They want to see if he really can make America great again. Others, though, were quite upset and have taken to the street to protest his victory. Thanks largely to social media and the two strong personality candidates, this might have been the most discussed election in the history of the country.
Since Kevin Nash wore a shirt with the word “Trump” on there and posted it on social media, many were under the assumption that he was endorsing the Republican candidate.
The problem, though, was that Kevin Nash was not endorsing Donald Trump with that shirt.
The WWE legend explained to fans that he was simply wearing that shirt in his neighborhood to see what type of a reaction he would receive from potential voters. Kevin Nash noticed a lot of Donald Trump supporters in Detroit, so he posted a message where he warned Hillary Clinton about that support. That was when Nash started to believe that Trump could actually beat Clinton.
To clarify things even further, Kevin Nash revealed to people what political party he supports. The former world heavyweight champion stated that he has voted for the Democratic candidate in all but one election. Nash supported Ronald Reagan, which was the very first time that he voted in a presidential election. The statement meant that he voted for Hillary Clinton this past week.
Like most people, Kevin Nash does not like having others question his choice of presidents. He stated that his vote counted as one, just like every other citizen of the United States that took to the ballot.
Kevin Nash also reminded fans that he also served in the military. Some may have forgotten the fact that he was with the United States Army at one point in time before becoming a big star in WWE and WCW.
Even after the thorough explanation, there is a very good chance that Kevin Nash will still face some backlash from wrestling fans. He has been doing various appearances at conventions. Someone is bound to bring the topic up to him. Nash is not the type to back down if someone were to be a bit too aggressive in their opinions towards him.
Hopefully, fans will be smart enough and respectful enough to leave politics out of the conversation when they approach Kevin Nash. It might be better to ask about his recent revelation that Shawn Michaels is going to be put in charge of the WWE Performance Center. That bit of news should excite fans of World Wrestling Entertainment because it means that future performers are going to be trained by someone that is viewed by many as the best to ever step foot inside of a wrestling ring.
