Selena Gomez ‘Feels Like Hell’ In Rehab But Gets Help From Some Pals

Selena Gomez recently revealed that she has been coping with anxiety and depression from lupus. She reportedly checked into rehab, and a new report is revealing how she is doing.

When Selena canceled the remaining dates on her “Revival Tour,” she explained that she wanted to focus on her health. Gomez previously opened up about lupus and revealed that she had discovered anxiety and depression were among the symptoms of her autoimmune disease. Since then, she checked into rehab, and her family and friends are concerned about her, reported In Touch.

“This is heartbreaking,” the media outlet told readers, revealing that the 24-year-old has had “anything but a positive experience” at the treatment facility where she is residing.

“Everyone is worried,” a source told In Touch.

“Selena keeps saying she feels like hell.”

The songstress has expressed her desire to either exit rehab or change to an outpatient form of treatment, according to the insider. Gomez is expected to remain at the all-women’s treatment center for a “few months,” and the source also revealed that it appears her desire to leave won’t be fulfilled because of her depression and anxiety.

“If anyone knew how bad she was, they’d be in shock,” added the insider.

Visitors often help to lift patients’ spirits in hospitals, and Gomez reportedly is allowed to have a limited number of visitors at her treatment facility. Jennifer Aniston paid her a visit recently.

Telling readers about Jennifer’s visit, OK! magazine cited a source clarifying the rules on visitors to the treatment facility where Selena is staying.

“Selena’s allowed a limited number of visitors a day, but she got the surprise of her life when Jen showed up.”

Describing Aniston as incredibly “supportive,” the insider also revealed that although Gomez is suffering, the Friends actress provided her with empathy and encouragement.

“Selena’s been going through hell with anxiety and depression over her lupus and Jen wanted to let her know everyone is rooting for her,” added the source.

Jennifer became friendly with the songstress after they met through their management team, according to the media outlet. Consequently, the visit from Aniston “really cheered her up,” added the insider.

Taylor Swift and Selena are also famous for their friendship, which according to E News began when Gomez was 13, and Swift was 16.

“She’s been one of my best friends through thick and thin, walked by my side,” said Selena about Taylor in a recent interview. “Her whole family has been so supportive of me and yeah, she’s been there during crucial points in my life and in my career.”

Also, Gomez shared that Swift encouraged the “Kill ‘Em With Kindness” singer to follow her lead in “embracing her personal story and creating a beautiful thing out of it.” Although she admits she “was a little hesitant with that” at first, she credits Taylor as being “the person to encourage me to tell my story and be proud of who I am.”

And now Swift has a plan to visit Gomez in rehab, according to a source cited by OK.

“Nights out with Lorde, Martha Hunt, Cara Delevingne, Dakota Johnson and Lily Donaldson have been a priority for Taylor, who’s also planning to visit Selena Gomez in rehab and reconnect with Karlie [Kloss],” revealed the insider.

Also, a new report revealed that Taylor just might have played Cupid for Selena.

Ed Sheeran recently visited Selena at the treatment facility, and that visit is thought to be the result of Swift playing matchmaker for her two pals, according to EnStars.

Taylor has been friends with both Ed and Selena for years, and now the two reportedly are dating as a result of Swift’s hookup, explained the media outlet. Sheeran and Gomez also allegedly were seen getting close at one of Taylor’s concerts before her stay in rehab.
