Josh And Anna Duggar Go On A Date After Jinger Duggar’s Wedding, Disprove Divorce Rumors

Josh and Anna Duggar have not been seen on television together since 19 Kids and Counting was cancelled last year. However, contrary to recent reports, Anna is not divorcing her husband. Josh and Anna were spotted together at Jinger Duggar’s wedding on Saturday, and they went on a double date with one of Anna’s sisters and her husband after the event.

Anna Duggar’s husband has been somewhat reclusive for the past year and a half. The former reality show star disappeared from the public eye shortly after it was discovered that he had molested five young girls as a teenager, including four of his sisters. Josh confessed to cheating on his wife a few weeks after his first scandal made headlines, and he spent half a year at a Christian treatment center.

Even though Josh has been in hiding for a long time, he reportedly didn’t seem awkward or uncomfortable around the nearly 1,000 guests that attended Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo’s wedding at the Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Anna also seemed at ease during the event, and she and Josh were even spotted getting physically affectionate.

“Josh and Anna seemed happy,” a source told Us Weekly. “He had his arm around her. They were talking and smiling.”

Some fans of the Duggar family may be surprised that Josh scored an invite to the wedding after seeing the way Jinger reacted to his cheating scandal on Counting On. As the Inquisitr previously reported, she revealed that her brother’s actions caused her “hard pain.”

“This person that we knew is no longer the same person,” Jinger said.

Josh’s presence will also come as a surprise to those who believed a report that was recently published in the print edition of In Touch Weekly. The magazine claims that Anna Duggar is planning to to divorce Josh because he and his family members have “treated her so appallingly for so long.” As reported by the Daily Mail, a supposed family insider told In Touch that Anna is angry with Josh’s family members for using her as a “tool” to improve Josh’s image. Last year, she appeared on Counting On to publicly forgive Josh for cheating on her.

“In my heart, when I got married, I vowed to God first and then to Joshua, ‘For better or for worse. ‘Til death do we part,'” Anna said, as reported by People. “I pray that through all of this that I would be an extension of Gods love to Joshua, that I would love him and forgive him and wait patiently and allow God to work through our hearts. My prayer and my heart’s desire is for our marriage to be restored.”

Anna Duggar’s sister, Priscilla Waller, recently shared photographic evidence that Anna’s prayers have been answered and that there is no truth to to the divorce rumors. On Sunday, Priscilla posted a photo of a smiling Josh and Anna on the Instagram page that she shares with her husband, David. David and Priscilla were in town for Jinger’s wedding, and they went on a double date with Josh and Anna the day after the event.

Jinger’s wedding was filmed for an upcoming episode of Counting On, and it appears that Josh did not try to hide from the cameras during the event. In a paparazzi photo published by the Daily Mail, the smiling used car salesman can be seen in front of the crowd watching Jinger and Jeremy drive away from the church. However, TLC is going to carefully edit the controversial former reality show star out of any footage of the wedding. According to TMZ, the network has promised that Josh will not appear on Counting On at all.

There’s no word on whether Anna Duggar was allowed to wish Jeremy and Jinger well in front of the TLC cameras, but viewers can watch for her when Counting On: Jinger’s Wedding airs on Tuesday, November 15 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
