It’s also introduced at least one new character who seems integral to the story going forward. What will fans have to look forward to when Episode 3 arrives on Sunday evening? First, what was the major story in the second episode?

A report from The Verge gives fans an in-depth recap of the second installment of the latest season. That episode featured the introduction of King Ezekiel from The Kingdom and his CGI tiger Shiva. Ezekiel comes straight from The Walking Dead comic book series, so fans who really want to get potential spoilers can consider diving into those. He was first featured in issue No. 108 of the comic series from Image Comics and throughout subsequent issues. A big spoiler is available there as Ezekiel forms an alliance of sorts, so make sure to pick up the issues and read up if you’re looking for more of the good stuff that may come.

The newest episode of The Walking Dead is called “The Cell” and was directed by Alrick Riley and written by Angela Kang. A synopsis was listed for the latest episode on TV Guide.

“A completely new group of survivors living in an impressive community that seems to have it all, but for a price, is introduced.”

On Saturday, the Blasting News website discussed potential spoilers for the newest episode, including what was seen in a preview clip from AMC. For viewers who have yet to fully catch up on the new season, it’s best to not read any further. For those who don’t mind potential spoilers, read on.

Apparently, Daryl Dixon and Dwight will be showcased in the latest episode. The biggest spoiler may be that Daryl Dixon is still alive, for those viewers who have yet to watch even the first episode of the newest season. However, it appears that Negan will be attempting to teach Daryl a bit of a lesson very soon.

The other big plot point is that Daryl is blaming himself for the death of Glenn. Basically, in the first episode of this new season, Daryl intervened when Negan pointed his deadly bat at Rosita. That may have saved Rosita, but it was a deadly mistake, by Daryl’s accounts. It ended up costing Glenn his life as Negan made an example since he had warned Rick and the survivors not to try anything.

Keep in mind that Daryl had been a major fan favorite, but as of recently, that may have changed as it’s been indicated that many fans on social media weren’t happy with him. On Sunday night, he’s sure to be a major factor in the new episode, but what will Negan have in store for Daryl, if anything? In addition, will fans see any more from the newly-introduced character Ezekiel and his pal Shiva?
