De Niro Refuses To Take Photo With The Terminator Because He Is Not Voting

Robert De Niro refused to take a picture with Arnold Schwarzenegger at a charity gala Thursday because the former California governor refused to say who he would be voting for November 8, NY Daily News is reporting

According to sources, The Raging Bull actor allegedly kept on asking The Terminator who was his candidate for the U.S. presidential elections. When Arnie said he was yet to make up his mind, the 73-year-old actor said if Arnie was supporting Trump, he wanted nothing to do with him and refused to pose for a photograph with him.

“If you’re supporting Trump, I want nothing to do with you. If you’re not part of the solution, then you’re part of the problem.”

Ironically, last month Schwarzenegger joined a teeming list of Republicans saying that he would not be voting for Donald Trump. The 69-year-old actor is due to take over from Trump as host of NBC’s reality show The Apprentice next year. The former governor revealed in a Twitter post that it would be the first time he would not be vouching for a Republican president since he became a citizen in 1983. However, he did not indicate if he would be voting for Hillary Clinton.

De Niro had endorsed Hillary Clinton in April and gone on to show his distaste for the GOP candidate in a video, where he did not mince words about the man that could be president of the United States of America.

“He’s a punk, he’s a dog, he’s a pig, he’s a con, a bulls**t artist, a mutt who doesn’t know what he’s talking about, doesn’t do his homework, doesn’t care, thinks he’s gaming society, doesn’t pay his taxes. He’s an idiot.”

The Academy Award winning actor revealed in the video that he was shocked and angry that portions of the country could be vouching for “this bozo,” concluding that Donald Trump would send America in the wrong direction and if people cared about the future, they would vote for it.

Jon Voight, a conservative Republican, took to Twitter to slam De Niro for his remarks. Ray Donovan said Trump’s remarks about wanting to “grab women by the p***y” was hardly different from De Niro’s rant.

The Midnight Cowboy, while not coming out to dismiss Trump’s comments in the controversial Access Hollywood lewd tape leak as “locker room talk,” said most men had used similar sexual terms towards women, especially in their younger years.

The father of Angelina Jolie also blasted Republican governors and congressmen who abandoned ship and renounced their support for their party candidate when the tape came out. De Niro had responded saying that Voight was “delusional.” The Godfather II star, relentless in his campaign for Hillary Clinton, urged people to turn out en-masse and crush Trump with their votes.

“The Republican Party has rationalized that this guy should be president…it’s imperative that you vote. Everybody has to be vigilant to make sure that this guy does not become president. Let’s not win by a margin, let’s make sure he’s crushed…because he represents so many horrible things.”

Robert De Niro made it clear he was voting for Hillary at the 10th annual Friends of the Israel Defense Forces Western Regional Gala at the Beverly Hilton. Other celebrities at the star-studded event included, Gerard Butler, Larry King and Julie Bowen.

Larry King, who said he cast his first presidential vote for Adlai Stevenson II in 1952, called the 2016 U.S. elections as the worst he had ever experienced in his life. He said both candidates were not well-liked and people were voting for the lesser of two evils in their eyes to avoid handing over the keys to the White House to the greater evil.

The 83-year-old said if Joe Biden had been the Democratic Party choice, he would have won over 70 percent of the electorate. King agreed with De Niro by saying not voting for Trump was equivalent to not voting at all, adding that you either pick one or the other.
