Before news reports revealed that Meghan Markle has been dating Prince Harry for months, the 35-year-old actress was best known for her work in the US legal drama Suits.
But unbeknownst to many, Markle is not just a privileged television actress. She also made major contributions as a humanitarian. And as previously reported by Mirror, this passion for humanitarian work is just one of many traits Markle shares with Harry, and it’s not farfetched at all to conclude that this passion is what endeared them to each other.

Meghan Markle runs a lifestyle blog called The Tig, in which she wrote about how she was raised by a clinical therapist mother and a father who worked as a television lighting director.
In a blog post entitled “How To Be Both” published by the end of October, Markle wrote about how she was able to juggle her time between acting and humanitarian work.
“I’m consistently asked how I keep a foot in two contrasting worlds – one in the entertainment industry, predicated on wealth and indulgence, and the other in humanitarian work.
To me, it’s less of a question of how can you do this, and more a question of how can you not?”
Meghan talked at length about her upbringing in the same blog.
“I was born and raised in Los Angeles, a California girl who lives by the ethos that most things can be cured with either yoga, the beach, or a few avocados.
I’m being cheeky, clearly, but it speaks to the temperament I grew up around. With a free-spirited clinical therapist for a mom, and the most hardworking father you can imagine (a television lighting director by trade), I always had a foot in two worlds, because their work and home environments were so vastly different.
With my mom, we spent time traveling to remote places – taking trips to Oaxaca, Mexico where I saw children play in the dirt roads, peddling chiclets for a few extra pesos to bring home. My mother raised me to be a global citizen, with eyes open to sometimes harsh realities.
I must have been about ten years old when we visited the slums of Jamaica. I had never seen poverty at that level and it registered in my glazed brown eyes. ‘Don’t look scared, Flower,’ she said. ‘Be aware, but don’t be afraid.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry probably met earlier this year. Markle also posted several photos of her visits to London in the past couple of months, which may have sparked speculations that she and Harry are indeed dating.
A source said that Harry, who was romantically linked to several women in the past, is “happier than he’s been for many years,” that “he’s in a very relaxed period of his life and Meghan has come along at the right time.”
Although she kept her relationship with Harry a secret, Meghan once posted a photo on Instagram showing a blue bracelet, which turned out to be almost identical to the one being worn by Harry.
The American actress has yet to talk about her romance with the prince. Reports confirm that the two made some visits to Toronto and London together.
And it’s looking like sparks continue to fly between the two as Hello! magazine reports that they’ve gone trick-or-treating together at Soho House Toronto. According to reports, Harry flew to Canada after concluding an important engagement in Nottingham.

Markle and Harry reportedly spent considerable time together in the television actress’s apartment, hiding from the scrutiny of the media all the while.
Even now, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are yet to be pictured together and are putting in the effort to keep their relationship low-key.
